RHOP

I do wonder about the rumors surrounding her and the house. I mean she's not the first Housewife to have a rental. Heck, Jen Shah had one on SLC. Meredith continuously does on SLC. And yes, given Angel's FOINE husband's history, it's clear there's money in that house. So...what is this? Did she just rent to film? Did she honestly not know about her rental? Did she really realize she was in over her head with this show and made a break for it? I personally love the theory that she made a run for it and Production said NOPE, setting up this cast trip and Angel is saving face cuz that is soooooo funny.

Ive seen people try to say that and it doesnt make sense. The cast trips are planned before filming even starts. There's alot that production needs to do such as securing flights and insurance for the cast and crew in addition to permits to film at the locales. Thats not something they can just do last minute. There's always 2 cast trips and we've only had one. Plus Angel is a nobody. If she wasnt able to continue filming then the would just ditch her and continue with the rest. No way would toe readjust their plans for everyone to acomodate her

So they could be trolling her. ;) But reading what you said...I think you are right. But I still giggle at the idea of it all.

I think I’ve just about had enough of RHOSLC and in particular Heather Gay. This season started strong and took a massive decline with the constant unending pile up on Meredith. The only gang up I’ve ever enjoyed on housewives is ironically enough when they gang up on deadbeat mom Britani. Depending how reunion part 1 goes, I may skip the rest and next season.

I’ve just gotten to a point where I refuse to hate watch anymore housewife franchises when I can find shows I actually enjoy.

I enjoyed the Greek tragedy (better writing than the last decade of Y&R, acted by the amateur mime society of Santorini). But good grief, talk about looking for tits on an ant. I still do not know what Heather, Little Hurl and Bronwyn are so bent out of shape about, but they've polluted the last 5 episodes whining about Meredith. Can't believe I'm saying this, but it has actually turned me into a Lisa Barlow fan.

Ever since the Monica reveal two seasons' ago, SLC has been trying to recycle the same now-moldy script, right down to the windswept island locale and moody music. But the so-called drama was built on the flimsiest of material. Heather's (aka Production's Handmaiden) final chyron basically boiled down to her non-soiled mattress and how much she hates having her kids around.

I agree that the season steadily declined after a strong start.

However, but for the pile up on her, what did Meredith bring to the season? In my view, exactly nothing. She has nothing going on and hasn't for at least a season or two. I think it may be time to 'pause' Meredith.

It was like production decided to make piling on Meredith the A storyline for the season and it did not work at all. There is no reason for it and it felt illogical and incredibly forced.

The finale felt very produced and inauthentic. The producers need to realize you can't catch lightning in a bottle and it would have been far better to have a real, pleasant conclusion to the season, than the crap we just endured in the final episode.

Heather's role is a problem. She cannot continue to be production's helper. We should have seen her creating the documentary series that's aired on Bravo concurrently. She also comes off really sanctimonious and I don't think anyone enjoys that.

We also saw nothing of Whitney rebuilding her business, dealing with the financial fallout, the tension with Justin. None of it.

The storyline about Lisa's lawsuits and money was also dropped.

We never got anything on Bronwyn and the criminal issue in her past. She at least contributed the implosion of her marriage to the odious Todd.

Mary is great for reactions, but she had a lack of storyline on her own.

Angie still has life left in her and Britani had no issues letting it all hang out with her dysfunctional Osmond relationshit and her terrible behaviour with her daughters.

The thing is you said Meredith had nothing going on but literally no one else did either. Heather got rid of a nasty mattress woohoo. Whitney had one episode about her failed business. Angie is Greek. Mary’s son showed up still high on camera for one episode.

Literally no one had anything going on except maybe Bronwyn and Lisa and all of that was dropped to focus on piling on Meredith for like 8 episodes straight endlessly.

It’s insane that instead of continuing to have a great season and focus on the things that were initially brought up about everyone at the beginning of the season, we completely the lost the plot and everything revolved around trying to take down Meredith while lying and saying how much they love her while drunkenly Screaming at her. It’s actually amazing these women like Heather and Whitney who are continuously hammered on camera, are the ones to try and say someone else is an addict.

Hell Mary herself acted like she was so surprised her son was an addict when he’s been high on camera since season 1 and has been arrested multiple times before this season. And she takes no accountability for the fact that she made her son’s great grandfather also his father and just maybe that might make him f.ucked up.

I agree with you. The production dropped every storyline that wasn't about the women ganging up on Meredith. Is that the deal they cut with them or did production not have any faith in what the women could bring? Maybe both?
