Sounds good!! I'm down for it all.

Awesome analogy, LOL. Diana is an epic fail. What a mess of an argument. Sutton may not always be able to articulate what it is she wants to say, but she was high above those two heifers trying to gaslight her.

I'm still rolling from that moment. LOL. Last night's show was delicious. I've been waiting for Jill Zarin to finally arrive, and she did not disappoint. I couldn't wait to hear the Dorinda vs. Jill tiff explained, and I always enjoy when they're open and frank about the show itself and how the show causes friction and drives them apart.  LOL at Jill saying she didn't invite Bravo to Bobby's funeral, when everyone else said she did (to be fair: it was *outside* the funeral).  LOL later at the dinner when Brandi calls out everyone on their thirstiness to be back on their respective shows.  LOL at Eva's fart analogy of saying Jill has something burbling up, and she's gassy and she just needs to let it out.  And then the Phaedra/Brandi crackup about Dorinda.  Fun episode!

Side Notes: But yeah, Dorinda reminds us every week why she was "put on pause."

For some reason while watching last night, I was thinking: "Who would I want to go out drinking with?"

NO to Dorinda (Mean Drunk)

NO to Brandi (Messy Drunk)

No to Taylor or Vicki  (potentially mean, potentially miserable)

YES to Tamra (she says she doesn't drink but she DRINKS)

Yes to Eva (I think she'd be cool actually)

Invites to Jill and Phaedra, because even though they don't drink I would enjoy the conversation.

Anyhoo... finally caught up on this board. Sigh.... BUSY work week. Ready for that drink with Tamra.

Makes sense.

Jenn didn't pop at all.  Had she been cast in the earlier seasons (season 1 to 4) she would have fit better.

Noella was on the opposite extreme..she was too much.  Had she toned it down a bit, and sharpened her reads against the others better..she might come back.

Here are some rumors about season 17.  You may hate her, but Alexis did have Heather's number in season 7..and she triggered Heather so much with her comment 'Angelina Jolie is a real actress' when talking of Heather's acting career

Lisa Wu! I had no idea she would be filming and present like this. I expected a quick cameo for the finale, but Im glad she was on. The way she was cutting up was like she was trying to get back on the show

LOL...drunk Kenya. I love that she is finally embracing that she wears wigs. I can see how anything Marlo says can be taken as shade but IA'd wit her

Fatum is THIRSTY! I dont like Drew but she is trying hard to come for her and Sheree is using her as her mouthpiece

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people. Edit to add: The reason this may be impossible to source, and therefore of no use, is because it was not a public statement. She is supposed to have said it at the show, about the show, to colleague/s, one of whom repeated it in public, but that is convoluted to try to track down, so feel free to ignore. I did do some looking & I am not optimistic.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
