Well a few days ago I posted a status update about Robert Hays (when he was on Angie)...it wasn't up very long though.

In terms of how guys look on a lot of TV shows and movies today, they don't appeal to me. I prefer older styles. All the endless gel and oversized chests/weird-shaped bodies, waxing issues, tanning, etc. don't work for me.

There are guys in real life I find attractive, but no real point in talking about them on an entertainment board. And there are guys I think are attractive who are on shows that are never spoken about here. Or shows you don't watch so you don't read those threads.

On shows that we both watch - Andrew Lincoln, Steven Yeun, Chad Coleman...I don't like him as an actor but I don't think Roger Howarth looks that awful either. Scott Clifton. Mark Lawson, wherever he is now.

I guess we've gone totally off topic.

Still don't think Tom is good looking though, sorry.

I think with different hair I'd have a different opinion.

I've heard people say he's better looking than Jax, or that Jax is too old, etc. but I think Jax has better hair and I prefer the scruff.

When I looked for Jax in Google one of the top searches was pregnant...

Weren't they saying ON THE EPISODE that Kenya was on Molly? I think Christopher Williams said it, but I recall Nene as well. Besides, MANY people have commented that Nene was acting odd.

I think that production post about Nene is true. It's typical Nene. She is VERY jealous, especially when she feels her post as HBIC is challenged.

I think Chris was being overdramatic. Kenya is saying Nene was high because shes seen the fan reaction and a lot of people think Nene was on something. All I know is these two have no love for each other at this point and my body is not ready fpr the classic lines and shade about to be thrown at this reunion.

I hate how Heather keeps trying to make holla happen like Vickie with her woooh. Ugh no. Holla is so dated and a remnant from the late 90s. She looks so stupid when she says it

Aviva has he best tagline by far. "I know when people say Im fake, they're just pulling my leg" LOL

How the heck did Ramona get thrown all the way at the end instead of the center? She also needs to stop with the pinot talk

Not a fan of the Windows Movie Maker production? LOL. I know the feeling as that's how I felt about Mob Wive's recent revamp bc they never updated the opening

Brandi's face will be fine if she stops with the cheek thing she's been doing. Or whatever it is. Because between whatever's it looks good. And after she looks like a chipmunk. Lol.

Excited for an oz housewives!

Nene is threatened by Kenya and didn't want. Her to return. That blog totally makes sense. And didn't kandi say something about her being on drugs too?

That ny opening. Cringe. Still. I get what they were going for but no.

Is there no BH or ATL vacation this season?

Aw guys, I actually love the NYC taglines! Maybe it's because I'm just so thirsty for this season and these girls.

Carole's totally fits her personality - it's ballsy/brassy.

Sonja's is the worst - doesn't really make sense, but it's sort of trashy, like her.

Love that Ramona got her turtle time in!

Aviva's is hilarious.

I don't love Kristin's - the way she says 'pretty' makes me think of Kelly, and that's not a good sign at all.

    • The only blonde I see is one of the actual women staring at first & then screaming & running later.  DAYS: Vivian's manservant Ivan is in a long curly red wig.

Y&R: long straight black wig is the actor Peter Barton whose character name I am blanking on.
    • I very much liked office Cleary and the actress who portrayed her (as you say, Mary Peterson).  A shame her turn didn't evolve into a contract role.   BTW, does anyone know the timeframe/years that Betty Rae served as casting director?  If i understand correctly, she not only led the effort for contract roles, but also for shorter 13- and 26-week roles.  IMO, GL had LOTS of very well-casted, limited roles, too. I'm surprised the actors throughout the soap industry, and especially P&G actors, have not assembled a book or something similar, praising Rae.  Each actor could write a few paragraphs or a page of text describing his or her experience.
    • No. Ruth had an extramarital affair with David while married to Joe.
    • I'm not sure I agree with Bernstein's children on that. Bernstein's life and activism here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Bernstein#Social_activism_and_humanitarian_efforts
    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
