I was done with this show, but now that the dreadful twin is gone, I'm gonna take a peek.

Can't enjoy Jason any longer because they soiled him with Brandi's character. What a joke!

Tasha Mack is no longer interesting.

Malik? Sigh...

The show has been gutted beyond recognition, but no Mowry means it's worth taking a looksy.

Losing Tia IMO was huge and Im sure will be reflected on the show. I saw the cast on Wendy today and by cast I mean Brandi, Lauren London and some new cute guy and boy did it all seem unrecognizable. I think this new season ill be the lowest one yet

Wow took a break from my work and decided to watch this. Boy was it bad. Ciara's transvestite looking ass can't act and neither can Lauren London. And this new guy is butt-ugly. Ugh! I can't believe they are about to revolve the show around these two.

Pooch Hall made me tear up and remember how much I used to love Derwin and his relationship with Melanie. RIP The Game!

Melanie wasn't on at all. Derwin made an appearance so he could be transferred from San Diego to Baltimore for the new character who is supposed to be a young, hotshot player.

I loved Jason and Kelly too and I can't with his character being saddled with Brandy. He bought this girl a spa. You mean to tell me cheap ass Jason just buys this chick a spa after knowing her for a few months? These characters are not the same ones from the CW and not in a evolutionary way more like a "WTF did they just do?" kind of way.

this show has lost its identity. Is it a comedy? Is it a drama? I wish it would pick one and go with that bc this in between isn't quite working anymore.

Losing Melanie was a mistake. They should have done whatever to keep her. Was surprised that she and Derwin are still married bc I thought they'd got a divorce over the break

I also really think the they should have cancelled this and considered giving Tasha a spinoff. When CW ended its run, she was thinking of running her own record label. I think that's a good angle they could still explore as we follow that dream. Hire an assistant, a male producer, 2 female artists and one male artist and that could be a good starting cast.

All the cast changes remind of Footballers' Wives where Tonya was the only character that had been their from the beginning. Not to mention both shows had a Chardonny.

My first reaction to the spa was, is this suppose to show that he loves her more than Kelly? Plus I really hated her introduction into the show and the implication that Jason was a racist.

The drastic change in characters happened immediately when the show went to BET. I can't stomach what used to be The Game! I don't care at all! I don't recognize any of these characters, and I will say a 3rd time - my man Jason with Chardonnay is a quick dagger through my heart! What a damn joke!

When I learned BET had picked up the show, I was on cloud nine until I saw the first show. It was horrific! Melanie, Dr. Med School, in charge of the Sunbeams? That really set the tone for what was left of the show.

And you know what else, for a network that shows ratchet chit 24/7, why during The Game reruns from earlier seasons is "bitch" bleeped out? That makes no sense!

When Jason caught Brittney making out with a white boy, she made a comment on how Jason didn't date and he mentioned Camille(Stacy Dash's character). Brittney then said she was "barely" black.

So I took it as the shows way of saying Jason dating a light skinned black woman doesn't count as him dating a black woman. If that makes sense.

    • This can be difficult for a soap to depict. So far she's only shown an interest in women. Will a man come into her life? If she commits to a male, there will be  backlash, but if it's women only, them where is the bi/queer aspect? Personally, I would have liked a single gay male on the show dealing with hook ups/relationships etc. Smitty/Martin married with kids is limiting in those terms.
    • Of course, how could I have forgotten those thrilling episodes depicting the fire? Also we had the GCAC rooftop set that came out every Summer. Moving on to Friday's episode. Victor is propped in his chair, answers his cell and tells the caller 'Let him in'. Seconds later Kyle enters. So does Victor have security on the front porch? It would have been better had Victor taken the call, and then said to himself 'Well Kyle, let's see what you have to say'and fade out. Next scene Kyle enters, indicating that the first call was from the Ranch entrance and time had passed . Nit picky but I get frustrated when they do stuff like that.
    • Jordan was gone from '87 to mid-'89. He left just weeks after Robert's late '86 return.

    • I don't think Chelsea has a true label just yet. She's just finding out she has an interest in women. I think the awkwardness is aligned with the character as we've seen. This is the fool who keeps filming her family when embarrassing things happen and live streaming it. I actually think it's refreshing she isn't just jumping into a relationship  and that they're playing the beats of her trying to figure out who she is.
    • Wow, do I agree with you. Chelsea is coming off as ridiculous. All she does is look for a woman to date while not caring about her business at all. That she's bi is great, but they're not writing her like she's bi. She seems to be lesbian. Yeah, I know -- "no labels." I just don't find the writing for her story to be anything other than awkward.   -- I hope we get some diagnosis finality with Bill's trip to the hospital. I don't want to see these trips to the ER every other day. -- Naomi is going to blame herself for Bill's health problems? GMAB. -- Ashley doesn't read as a real nurse in the slightest. -- Another day, another rinse and repeat conversation with Derek and Ashley. YAWN. -- Kat is making mistakes, but she's fun to watch and listen to, regardless. -- I still think the Joey/Vanessa/Doug gambling story sucks. I know Doug is deeply in debt, but I don't like him acting this meek and submissive.  -- I'm not sure what Joey's plan was from the beginning, or why he had to seduce Vanessa at all to get his way. I'm not sure what Vanessa ever saw in Joey -- why doesn't he give her the ick? -- I'm fine with a story where Doug and Vanessa take out Joey.  -- The fades to commercials were pretty bad today.
    •   Victoria's house (that she long ago lived in with Billy) burned down (I think Aunt Jordan set it ablaze?). Victoria briefly moved into the ranch after the fire, with Claire, Johnny and Katie, I think? Mariah and Tessa and baby Aria had been living in the tack house but they bought a house we've never seen and moved there. Victoria, Claire, and Cole then moved into the tack house as soon as Teriah left. I guess Victoria's children Johnny and Katie would live with Victoria at the tack house eventually? But Johnny and Katie went to boarding school during the school year. Not sure if we'll see Johnny and Katie for the summer vacation or where they would live.
    • Victoria’s previous house burned down.    And I know why characters frequent Crimson Lights 3 times a day for brownies, muffins and empty mugs:   THERE’S PCP IN EVERYTHING.
    • Today was a good episode, and the week for that matter. I think they've also done a better job with background music. The scenes in todays episode weren't as silent as they usually are in the background and it was noticeable. I think the show has found its groove well and I'm still invested.
