Victor - has a heart attack while trying to have sex with a young hot babe. Has to deal with the realization that he's not a young man.

Nick - killed, violently, through his own stupidity

Ashley - becomes an advocate for the mentally ill, decides to become a stand-up comedian because all she can do is laugh at the insanity of her life, falls in love with a man who makes her laugh and refuses to let her be the frost queen

Sharon - falls in love with Daniel, as they help each other overcome their addictions. Deals with the fact that her son Noah is not overly sad Nick is gone, as he barely knew Nick as the years went by, and that Noah isn't that close to her either.

Phyllis - Nick's death her past crimes begin to haunt her and she turns to religion, with mixed results.

It's all a bit sh!t but I'd like to see how the actors would play it.

Nick & Sharon reunite w/ baby Faith and Noah and leave Genoa City. Later, we hear Nick and Noah have started a father-and-son mail-order catalog business (think L.L. Bean) in Madison, WI. Away from the center of the action, so to speak, but close enough for others (Victor, Nikki, Victoria, etc.) to visit whenever story dictates.

Phyllis, the sole remaining co-founder of Restless Style, is disappointed that Amber and Daniel decided to move to Manhattan (where Daniel can continue with his artistic career) but she has a new suitor in the form of RS' new owner (after Billy is forced to sell the magazine and pay off mounting gambling debts), Brooks Prentiss.

Ashley checks herself into the local sanitarium. While there, she meets a fellow "inmate" who turns out to be her half-sister, Brent Davis' daughter from another relationship.

Victor has to let go of his feud with Jack Abbott after Jack decides to relocate to Hong Kong, and Nikki is diagnosed with Type II Diabetes and becomes paralyzed from the waist down after suffering a massive stroke.
