Members DeeeDee
It would be worth it to see Starr speak Japanese.
Members SFK
I'm with you in terms of shoe-horning, but you're losing me because the shoe-horning has crossed all races on this show. Rex and David Vickers ARE friggin' shoehorns, and a black or latino or asian or gay character or two are worthy of the same.
Members catsmeouch
Ah, okay, so you wouldn't consider the person who was raised as your brother as part of your family anymore because there's no biological relation. I see how it is.
Members Eric83
He can still be a part of Natalie's family in a sentimental way, but that doesn't make him a Buchanan.
Members SFK
Just because someone is ignorant of the message they're sending doesn't mean the mnessage isn't being sent. There is so much truth to DeeeDee's observations.

Members Khan
Who else are we blaming!? No, Amello, the Woleks were Polish, not the Siegels.
Members SFK
Maybe not apparent to all, but to a great many, namely the black audience.

Members catsmeouch
OLTL has survived pretty nicely without the Hall family. Ah, so you'd prefer the black characters got special treatment and weren't allowed to be villains? I thought it was pretty progressive to have a black villain like Vincent/Valerie on the show. So often, shows are afraid of backlash from the PC agenda if they make gays or racial minorities bad guys.

Members DRW50
Don't forget about the thrilling "down low" storyline where the actors looked disgusted and never kissed on the mouth.
Members Eric83
I'd prefer black characters to get the same treatment as the white ones in regards to storylines. Instead of being villian of the week type characters like Georgie from OLTL in the late 90's.
