R that's a point--wasn't she working in an illegal massage parlour??? Pratt brough on a few female characters with dark and sexual or cheap pasts--Randi the hooker and porn star, Marissa the "happy ending" masseuse, and even nuLiza the uber "sleeps with you before she knows your name" slut. The funny thing is, while Pratt seems to love these kinds of women characters and certainly wrote for them on Melrose and Models Inc, on AMC within a month or so it seemed liek they all went the other way--Liza is a baby wanting *saint* (in many ways she's the most "together" woman in Pine Valley) which is a character change I like I admit, but--Randi could pretty much be a saint too, and Marissa as you say is too... Which adds up to a lot of boring--not that I'm more comfortable with every woman being a slut or sex worker, but it's strange...

There was nothing illegal about Marrisa being a masseuse when she first came on

So they all got raided, thrown in jail and Krystal bailed them out because... what? They were arrested by the fashion police?

Marissa was, indeed, working in "massage parlor."

I had forgotten about Marissa and the massage parlor. Wonder if she was giving "happy endings." I'm not a fan. I agree that Alexa Havins will likely be back and take over the role of Marissa.
