January 15, 201015 yr Member ONE LIFE TO LIVE's Erika Sleazak (Viki) will be taking a brief leave of absence from the show, according to her official Web site. "Erika will be having back surgery at the end of January, and in Llanview, Viki will take a trip to London to cover Erika's absence," says the message posted to fans earlier today. "The surgery will correspond with the OLTL studio move, and Erika hopes to return to the new studio within a month. We will keep you posted on her progress and wish her a safe and speedy recovery." A spokesperson for OLTL had no further comment. http://abc.soapsindepth.com/latebreakingnews/
January 15, 201015 yr Member I wish her the best. I wonder if Viki will be involved in any of the end of the Mitch story.
January 15, 201015 yr Member Best wishes Erika! 'Twas bound to happen after decades of carrying the show! <3
January 15, 201015 yr Member Here is my article about it that I posted earlier today on the SON main page: http://www.soapoperanetwork.com/soaps/oltl/news/1691-slezak-takes-leave-from-one-life I hate it that since Errol switched from Wordpress back to Joomla! that the news/previews articles do not automatically post to the message boards like they used to.
January 16, 201015 yr Member 'Twas bound to happen after decades of carrying the show! You got that right, lol.
January 16, 201015 yr Member Hope she gets well very soon! And maybe when she comes back, we can have a good classic Viki storyline. She hasnt had too much to work with lately...I'd like to see her front a new storyline. Isn't it time for a visit from Nikki (her alter) ???
January 16, 201015 yr Member Isn't it time for a visit from Nikki (her alter) ??? NO! Absolutely, positively, one-hundred-percent, no. Just...no.
January 16, 201015 yr Author Member DID is the most overdone plotline on this show next to rape and serial killing. I do not want to see it appear again anytime soon
January 16, 201015 yr Member Worse than Viki or Tess (and should I throw Todd in there too?) having a recurrence, I will boycott if yet another member of their family ends up developing it. Edited January 16, 201015 yr by SFK
January 16, 201015 yr Member NO! Absolutely, positively, one-hundred-percent, no. Just...no. That was sarcasm folks.
