Though she had just put her husband in deep freeze and was preparing to do away with Babe, Collins showed fans a Janet who was severely misguided. Nobody was going to forgive Janet for kidnapping Little A, but at least Collins made it clear why Janet did it: She had a horrible childhood and was looking for love with some kind of family. Any kind. And, despite scripts that sometimes demanded she go over the top, Collins kept Janet From Another Planet grounded, earning Applause, Applause kudos for Issue 14.
