Speaking of AMC’s writing team, The Suds Report has learned that ABC is thisclose to signing a deal with a head writer. Earlier this week, there were terrifying rumours circulating around the campfire that loathed former Y&R head writer Lynn Marie Latham was said candidate. Thankfully, Suds can happily report the “Emmy winner” is not a contender. Whew — we dodged a bullet there, kids.

Nelson seems to have forgotten that he was a major player in circulating those LML rumors after believing a fake e-mail someone claiming to be Sara Bibel sent him.

If the new AMC headwriter is not Broderick then the speed with which they found someone worries me.

Hopefully Ash isn't Broderick's new Tanner Jordan.

Could "Ash"(IF this is true) be a Jamie Martin recast? Maybe they're giving him a personality. With Brooke's return, I could see them bringing back Jamie, and that's about the right age for him

Sad news — former One Life actor, Irish theatre and film actor Donal Donnelly has died. Famed for his role in John Huston’s film, The Dead, the 78-year-old passed away yesterday at his home in Chicago after a long illness. Of course, diehard One Lifers will remember that the character actor played Lord Henry Leighton, Lady Joanna’s (Roma Downey) father. Donnelly was a part of one of my favourite Llanview storylines, the faux Bo plot, which also included iconic actress, the late, great Lois Kibbee.

wow, I remember Lord Henry. Cassie and Rob were snooping around his castle for clues. Lois Kibbee...so great and now forgotten I imagine, consigned to the graveyard of long forgotten soaps.

Me too. I would like to see one similar to the 30th Anniversary book in time for their 45th Anniversary.

"Ash" could be a recast but I'm not sure if it is Jamie. The character description doesn't sound like Jamie. Also Jamie is younger than JR and I don't think JR is older than 26.

Jacob Young is around 30 but if I'm not mistaken JR should only be around his mid twenties. But its possible they decided to SORAS JR and Jamie a little, especially since they might be aging little A.
