I don't think Vivian killed the patient. She just arranged for a corpse to be there as a welcome back gift to Carly. At least it is a use of history on the show. I did enjoy Vivian's scenes today.

The babies playing Sydney are adorable. They are so cute and engaged. Now there are babies that I don't want to undergo SORAS.

The Sydney twins have a devoted and growing fanbase. TPTB would be insane to get rid of them.

I couldn't believe it was Anna either! One of my guesses went towards Jamie, Sami's friend in the 90's. LOL I'm glad I was able to avoid this spoiler and that the surprising moment wasn't stolen from me. Sucks to those who read the spoiler. LOL

I don't want them sorased either. I want to see her grow up on our tv screen. I miss Nicole Cox who played Endora on Passions. It was such a joy to watch her grow up. She was the cutest, more adorable TV baby I've ever seen.

I can't believe you didn't notice Anna's voice, Toups. Hunley tried but IMO it was obvious it was her.

Well, given how your all about the "little things" and follow things like dialogue, scene length, writers, directors, etc. I mean, I know people whose only exposure to Anna was the one episode she had after Tony's death in April when she came to get his ashes and they still figured out who it was. They were like, "Isn't it that woman whose husband died in a few months ago?" It made me LMAO that they figured it out

It's very nice to see Anna again. She is one of those iconic 80s characters; I think her 2007 return was just marred by no one actually knowing what to do with her once she returned, or with budget issues, or whatever. It certainly wasn't Leann's doing, as she is as unique and luminescent as ever. Looking back, DAYS had so many unique characters in the 80s, balanced in with the supercouples and the core families.

I don't want to jinx her return, because I don't even know all it will entail, but I hope she has some good stuff. They have done a decent job with Vivian's return (who is a much more difficult character to bring back than some may realize, as few say "JER" like Vivian), so I hope the same will happen here.

They show how much you analyze the show and look at the details so, naturally, I'm shocked you didn't even find her voice familiar at the very least. LeAnn has a distinguishable voice. Hell, I was spoiled and I noticed her voice in her first few scenes last Friday! .

I guess sometimes being clueless benefits the viewing experience. In this case, it did.

Days is pretty much what every soap should be. They should be proud. They basically kept Hunley a secret right until the day before we started hearing her in scenes and that is when SOD broke the news online. For Days and soaps in general, that is a good job. It helped having her film on a closed set too. I guess Tomlin learned some things from Passions, who used to pull those kind of surprises all the time. They were the only soap to really get away with it without it getting spoiled anywhere beforehand. Too bad SOD broke the news but I do think many people would've figured it out anyway with the voice.

And the good news is it's not over yet. There are still more surprises to come .

I loved the reveal that Anna was behind the kidnapping. I'm curious her motivation, not that she doesn't have ample reason, as well as who she was talking to on the phone.

The scene between Nathan and Phillip a couple of Fridays ago was particularly strong. I was impressed with both Jay Kenneth Johnson and Mark Hapka in that scene. I'd love to see more fight between them play out.

When Hope asked Bo about having a child with Carly, I smiled. You know Hope is going to think Carly's kid is Bo's. I love how Hope brought up Chelsea and Billie. I think Hope is paranoid beyond belief, but history has taught her to be a bit leery of Bo and his exes.

Sorel has tamed down Vivian a bit, or I'm simply adjusting. Her scenes with Carly and Victor have been priceless. I loved Carly's line about dentur abhesive.

Nicole's wig is a bit much, but I assume its to hide the fact that AZ stopped dying her hair during her pregnancy.

Arianna doesn't seem as out of place as she once was. Everything seems to be coming together nicely.

Spreitler seems a bit more comfortable as Mia, especially in the scene where Maggie told her Grace would wat her to be happy. Similarly, I thought Henning did a remarkable job in her scene at the Brady Pub with Nathan telling him she has no desire to analyze Melanie and Phillip's relationship.

Overall, I just feel the show is really solid.

I thought having Anna as the kidnapper was a great choice. Is she working with Stefano or EJ or is she doing this on her own to avenge Tony.

I'm enjoying Vivian and she is bringing some much needed snark and humor to the show. I agree her scenes with Carly and Vivian have been very good. I have also enjoyed her with Kate, Phillip and Melanie.

I enjoyed the Arianna and EJ scenes. I'm not sure where Days is taking this but they have chemistry together if the show is thinking of putting them together.
