OLTL is a non-sexist soap? I'm not so sure there.

I liked SSM's DAYS run a lot more than some here did but I wouldn't call Princess Gina an "it" storyline.

No one does death better than Brad,” says a source close to the B&B chief.

Yeah, we're going to be lining up those Emmys for Phoebe's death, aren't we? And how about Darla run over by Taylor, now not even an afterthought? And Macy and the chandlier?

I didn't even think that much of Storm's death. I thought it was style over substance and a huge waste of the character.

• Not sick and tired of Franco yet? Well, Soap Opera Digest printed this juicy blind item in their current issue, so drink this up, soapers: “The GH cast was miffed when they received a memo under their doors instructing them not to bother James Franco for autographs or take photos with him. ‘It was totally insulting,’ says an insider. ‘We’re all actors …’” Well, except for Nathan Parsons-Geary, that is. But that didn’t stop Steve Burton from leaving a crate of Monavie Juice in Franco’s dressing room. “You’ll win an Oscar with this life-changing elixir,” wrote Steve in a note. Oh, I kid, people! Get a sense of humour. Or watch SNL.

The mean part of me loves this. Actually, the Monavie part is funny too. If there is anything I love about Nelson it's that he has never let this go.

The catty bitch in me loves it too, especially the Monavie part.

The world is askew! Various critics are surprisingly impressed with Jake Silbermann’s recent performances since Noah became blind. Good work, Jake! Conversely, during a CBS podcast, Daytimeconfidential.com asked why Van Hansis is overacting and/or phoning it in lately. I have to agree. We all know that the Daytime Emmy Award-nominated actor is crazy-talented, so something must be up. Unless, Hansis is just getting tired of the lame stories World Turns throws Nuke. Hey, I can’t say I blame him. On a superficial note, I’m loving Van’s rock star hair! Very sexy. Keep the tresses long, girlfriend! They suit you.

Branco must be a member of the Nuke Nation or Van Hansis boards for all this shameless gushing he just did. Honestly at most of the boards I frequent and post on there is much contempt for Nuke and the actors outside of die-hard Nuke fans.

Which gay actor’s closeted co-star is secretly jealous that said actor had a threesome with his boyfriend and another soap actor?

He keeps bringing this baby up so I'll take a guess. This either involves Days actors or Y&R actors.

I think he's faking this one. IMO, he's half truth and half BS. He called the AP/TC affair at ATWT. I believe he told the truth on that one. He also called another affair on that show, which I also believe. But when he is vague like this I doubt him. If this person is in the closet, how does NB know they are gay? Is he assuming? If the person is out to people he knows, but just not to the general public, is that really in the closet? How does he know this person is jealous? All of which is just to say, I think when it's a blind item and he never reveals it, there is a hell of a lot of embellishment and assumption going on.

Translation: One Life has spoiled me with quality, non-sexist soap. Don’t let the door hit you on your way out, Chuck Pratt.

Morina created Generations, an all-black soap opera, which would benefit Angie and Jesse,

Generations was NOT an "all-black" soap opera. That just might be the most ridiculous thing he's ever said. He completely missed the point/concept of the show.

I don't know what's so great about Jake's acting as a blind man. He still sucks in the role. He isnt pulling anything off. And I agree about Daytime C. views on Van Hansis shitty acting...lol

I loved that too I must say. I hate to see the really great vets and younger actors get slighted for being on a soap, but there are definitely some egos in daytime that need to be taken down a few notches.

I think Jake's performance has been understated but solid. Call me crazy, but I think the blind item about the closeted actor is about the guys from ATWT. Maybe Jake is jealous of Van's promiscuity? I can't think of why he would be.

Generations was boring, pretentious, and preachy crap that pretended to be high art, but knew it sucked anyway. It gets points for diversity, but let's not kid ourselves, it was never really that great of a show creatively.

Sally Sussman Morina is one of the most boring and cliched writers to ever grace daytime.
