OLTL: Discussion for the week November 23

The issue isnt that he clued in right away; its that he blurted it out to Danielle. Fact is he didnt know for sure and even if he did, it wasnt his place to tell, at least not without discussing it with Tea first

See and that doesn't bother me a bit. As far as I can remember, Todd has never been known for his tact, consideration of others feelings or for thinking threw to see the ramifications of his actions. He has always been impulsive and always about himself. I thought this was classic Todd less the violence. If RH were still in the role he would have beaten Ross's punk ass hard and done it in front of Dani and Tea till he killed him and then would have gone gunning for Tea. In a sick sort of way, I think Todd showed a little growth yesterday.

Yes, but Todd is supposed to be the ideal man now. Perfect and wonderful and put-upon. That's what they have regurgitated for months on end.

Everyone in this story is so unpleasant, and dull, often at the same time.

Ron has handled Clint/Viki/Charlie so well.

It's nice the three of them have developed such a mature understanding relationship especially when compared to others.

Oh nose! Starr's stuffing the bird!

LOL at the Hee Haw-ish country music coming from the turkey while Natalie is having this big emotional moment watching Jess and Brody hug. Too funny.

Shaun and his mother look so much alike!

Charlie/Viki

Cris/Layla/Oliver/Kyle!

Seeing Roxy spend the holiday alone makes me extremely, extremely sad.

I'm being greedy, I mean, we're talking about a group of four recurring characters here, but wouldn't it have been so much nicer if these scenes with the Evanses were in their HOME instead of at the diner? I am enjoying their togetherness nonetheless.

Roxy & Kyle are SO much better than Roxy & Rex.

Amen.

Rex should have had Thanksgiving with Gigi, Shane, Noelle & Mo at his house too.

You betta recite Viki! Oh man, I've got goose pimples and watery eyes, now THAT's a montage OLTL, just beautiful. Good soap opera, you can't beat it with a stick.

ETA: The final montage was very nice too (Destiny tying Matt's tennis shoes :) ), but I specifically meant the one as Viki was reading the poem.

Kudos to RC on OLTL's Thanksgiving episode. It was excellent.

Kudos to FV for the excellent music for the montage as usual. He has the best taste in music than all the ABC soap EPs.

I liked Vicki's poem, very appropriate. Who wrote it?

I like that there is still tension in the Evans family. That is how it should be.

I'm glad that Destiny got to spend Thanksgiving with Matthew without Danielle there. Last happy moments for Destiny with Matthew.

Ilene Kristen needs to be given a contract NOW. I am just absolutely crazy about the woman, for real. With so little words, she had me in tears when she stood at the diner and then went in and hugged the kid. Just beautiful work. Roxy is quite possibly the most sympathetic character on the show right now because she IS so much more realistic than most.

Then Noelle takes Shane out to look at the Christmas star, and while they're gone, the roof collapses on Gigi, Moe, and Rex.

Good show all around. Like the fact people were with the ones they should be with. Clint at Viki's for his girls. Rex at Viki's for a sister who doesn't know his her brother and for a sister who just lost her husband. Bo and Nora with their son. The Evans there for their daughters friend. Love the ending.
