I don't think Reva worked as well when separated from the Lewises. And I damn sure don't think Kim would've really been happy doing "mom Reva" type stories.

YouTube apparently got super sneaky with the algorithm to push an episode with Chris Berneau as Alan from 1980-definitely night and day from RR. There’s Vanessa looking stunning and clearly trying to drive Hope nuts with jealousy, and Hope confiding in Amanda about her insecurities. There’s preteen Phillip in a baseball uniform (and Amanda is very much an adult haha). And Maureen Garrett truly is an ageless wonder.

I also never thought of this story as having a proper triangle. I felt like the show just kept coming up with excuses to keep Josh and Reva apart rather than Josh having genuine feelings for Annie.

The only other woman I thought Josh worked with was Harley.

Aww, I really liked Annie/Josh in the beginning, before Zimmer came back. Not knowing Reva/Josh, it was easy for me to really buy into Josh/Annie because they were sweet. She nursed his leg and it was cute watching them flirt and become a couple. I really wonder what they would have planned for Josh/Annie if Zimmer hadn't come back. My gut tells me they never would have gone the crazy route. Alcoholic maybe? But it felt like Reva is what drove her to start taking pills and then drinking, and her back story with Rick didn't come out until after Reva was back too.

Well, Hope and Amanda must seem like easy targets for Van. LOL. Not to mention Eve. This Van would've made mincemeat of Reva.
