Members amybrickwallace
Thank you very much!! Rod Arrants did two fairly recent "Where Are They Now?" interviews with SOD, the first in July 2008 and the other in February 2010. Do you have any SODs that recent? One of the periods of SFT I would most like to see is 1978 where Sherry Mathis first came on and the time she shared with Michael Nouri, Anne Wyndham and Joel Higgins briefly overlapped before that trio left the show the same year. Which month in 1978 did Sherry make her SFT debut, and which month did the other three leave? Thanks again!!!!
Members DRW50
This is more about Mary Stuart than SFT, but not sure where else to put it. It's from a December 1990 Weekly.
Members amybrickwallace
Thanks for posting this! It seems that Mary put a lot of herself into the role of Jo. Both were kind, compassionate, involved in social causes, trying to make the world a better place. God rest her.
Members DRW50
Travis/Liza promo here. This is a slightly longer, different version than one saynotoursoap has up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYd8jRFFy00
Members amybrickwallace
Thank you so much!! I would sure love to see that QE2 story in its entirety, as well as the beginning of Liza and Travis. That would be awesome.
Members DRW50
A little more for amybrickwallace. It's not much, but it's from (I think) the October 1979 Daytime TV.
Members DRW50
Promo at the start of this that I hadn't seen before. I don't know anything about this story... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkcN-rx7j4Y&list=UUMzfXBdkJBnz14rGTDBnVDw&index=1
Members amybrickwallace
Thanks so much for posting those!! It's interesting - both Sherry Mathis and Rod Arrants wed their respective spouses in the summer of 1979 (Sherry on June 30th and Rod on August 18th), and both the Mathis/Lanning and Arrants/Estrin unions ended in divorce in 1992. About the YT clip, I don't know the story either - but I love Maree's hair!!!
Members Matt
Isn't that the story when Stephanie found out she was the mother of Brian Emerson (I think that was the character's name. He was played by a bunch of different actors over a 4 year span) that she'd given up years earlier?
Members amybrickwallace
Possibly. About all I know about the character is that one of the actors who played him was Larry Joshua, the future (and now former) husband of Sharon Gabet on EON.
Members Paul Raven
The Brian character might hold the record for most recasts in the shortest period.
Members amybrickwallace
Were any of them AT LEAST 10 years younger than Maree Cheatham? Yikes.
Members danfling
Paul Joynt was more than ten years younger than the actress who played his mother, but not very much more than ten years.
Members amybrickwallace
That's what I thought - thanks.
Members amybrickwallace
Sharon Gabet confirmed on FB that the man in the clip with Maree is indeed her ex-husband, Larry Joshua - who was one of several actors to play Stephanie Wyatt's son, Brian Emerson.
