I'm not sure if AMC needs to kill more legacy characters just for personal hostility. We see how well that worked with Dixie and the pancakes.

I don't ever want to see Bianca again, no matter who plays her, because even if she did return full time, they would just make her straight anyway.

They recast the role of Kendall when SMG left. Plus, the rumor was that AMC balked when Eden suggested extending her stay the last time around. We'll see if AMC offers Eden a long term contract as Bianca when both parties are in LA.

Eden was offered to extend but truend it down ebcause it was going to all about Zach/Reese. it was the actress from passions who aksed to extend and was turned down.

It took them 7 yrears to recast Kendall. That being said Binks can be a recast.

As for the hate mail it's not really hate mail it's just peeps saying the role should be recast with the chick from GH.

Do we know that she's "always" getting hate mail? It sounds like this is a relatively new thing (not counting the usual homophobic redneck stuff she's gotten since the moment Binks came out). And if she's getting hate mail for coming and going I guarantee she's getting an equal amount of fan mail from people who are glad she doesn't stick around for the Zarf or Reese-based monstrosities that AMC tries to position as Bianca stories. And again I ask why should she commit to the show or tell them she has no intention of coming back? I believe she would commit to the show if they'd stop writing Bianca as some kind of "Girl Gone Wild."

And none of this keeps them from recasting. Face it, if Pratt/Frons could get away with having one of their ex-hookers suck on Jamie Luner's nipples every other ep, Binks would be recast so fast they wouldn't even bother to tell Susan Lucci.

She doesn't have what it takes to issue a classic Julia Barr "once a television icon" statement and shut the door forever so she continually pops up in one "Is Bianca Coming Back?" drama after another to keep her name alive. She probably sends the hate mail to herself so she can eke out another headline.

Also, you don't see Helmut or the spouses of any former GL cast members spouting off with their opinions on the state of the show which once employed their husband or wife.
