Brimike already told us, LML was cancelled for mismanagement...not ratings or creative direction.

I hear no evidence Y&R is mismanaged in a fiscal/logistic sense. So it's not gonna happen. It's more productive to think about ways this regime can get its game back.

No it's not more productive. As we've seen, one of this show's Co-HW's repeated the same storyline on this show that started a backlash on another show. How is that learning from his mistakes?

This regime is incompetent, you have no proof to tell me that this regime won't be fired with the record low ratings, fans dissatisfaction, and press outrage.

Also, nothing suggest that they can be better or improve upon their mistakes, as they haven't in my view over the course of a year. I've listed their long-term problems numerous times in this thread.

These writers do not learn for their mistakes, they've had a list of writing flaws that have plagued this show from the start of their tenure, and they're getting more and more unpopular.

I'm keeping the faith alive that we will get better writers and producers in there. This show sucks right now and it's the current writing regime doing that, no one else.

What do you call keeping players on contract that you never use? Keeping a bloated writing team? Useless crossovers from a lower rated show?

And there are no ways this regime can get it back. People have been saying that about Goutman since Sheffer was let go, same for Brad Bell since S-I-L Boink, and Guza well, since he came back after McTavish.

It's useless to think that this team will change its course. They are set in their ways. And this kind of product reeks of complacency and desperation.

Not to be a jackass, but there's about a hundred times more we DON'T hear about behind-the-scenes, than we do hear about. The way some people arounbd here say things with such authority sometimes - I hate to break it to everyone, but we only get a slight morsel of information that escapes in regards to what's really going on at these shows on a daily basis.

I'll be the first to go there. It's worse. I laughed at Amber being raped by Deacon. I felt nothing but contempt for the writers who penned this [!@#$%^&*] and the actors who agreed to along with it. I have lost all respect for MAB, her team of hacks, Sean Kanan and Adrienne Frantz.

Oh no. I would say beware Zapato, but how would she carry him around? In all seriousness, I hope you are joking. It is sick enough to think she is carrying around baby doll's eyes, but to think she would actually use them on another animal is too much to contemplate. Don't give her the milk, Mac!

Don't worry, maybe Deacon will rape Kitty too before we see the last of him/her/it.

I hate to say this but I'm hoping they put Katherine & Jill back as family. Maybe this will be the end of Billy & Mac. But then again they can just pull a Tammy & Jonathan.

When I see Monday show I see Katherine with her grandkids & great grandkids. & plus Katherine have more family chemistry with her none grandchildren then with CF as Mac.

The writing for women on this show is extremely demeaning.

Man I miss those days when Christine was tearing up the courtroom, Nina was writing her books, Ashley was mixing potions in her lab, Jill and Victoria were wreaking havoc in the boardroom, Phyllis was kicking arse and taking names, and Dru was Mrs. Supermodel/Matriarch of the Winter's clan.

I miss those days too...

I just often wonder why they assume the 18-49 Female(their target demo) wants to constantly see women in their age group victimized or in constant need of a man. It's shameful and embarrassing and it really says alot about what they think of the people who watch their show.

It makes me very sad that Lily and Cane are one of the few good things on this show. I used to hate them, but now everything else is so bad, Lane is starting to look good to me.
