-Today's show was great - Chancellor's back in motion - Kay knows about Jill losing her money. Seemed like I missed something but Jill tried to sell her half of the manse?

- Jill's a manicurist again!!! Oh boy! I was truly shocked and a bit befuddled. This woman has no assets other than her liquid money and the mansion? Geez..

In a million years, I did not expect this. I thought it was cool to see her revisit her manicurist past...but not BECOME one. It is silly that she has no $$, and it is silly that she has to slum as a manicurist. CLEARLY she could get a better job. Will they humiliate her? (Nikki comes in to get her nails done?).

It made me remember NVP, the chain of spas, that just....disappeared. I'd love to hear that NVP is faltering, and Jill can rescue the chain.

Much more importantly...Lily's irregular pap smear. Cervical cancer? An infertile Lily would be such a cliche.

But there are BEATS to play, if they go this route. Beat 1: The cause of cervical cancer is often venereal disease or at least sexually associated. Kevin took her virginity and gave her chlamydia. They might be able to lay this at his ... err ... feet. This should be developed.

Also, Aunt Liv almost DIED when she got cancer (uterine?) while pregnant with Nate. She chose not to have treatment to spare the life of her child. Then the cancer was miraculously healed without treatment. That should definitely be referenced now, don't you think?

- Loved the MJ hallucination with Paul. Mary Williams please come back soon!!! She'd know her daughter at first sight. i think if my sister ever got radical reconstruction I'd know her either way. Father Todd showing up just for that day was weird. I guess they hd booked Corbin for the Paul/Nikki wedding but that fizzled.

I think Todd was just a clue. He came to play for a day with his mom's crew, got a paycheck, and dropped a clue regarding MJ's past.

- Glad Neil finally got to do something as CEO of CI. Why isn't he in Jack's face laying down the law for Jabot? I kind of hate that Neil still has to go through Kay to make all these hiring decisions. Can't the man EVER just order somebody to do something like all the other big-wigs?

Neil is a glorified dayplayer. Waste of $$, the way they use him. And yes, I thought the same...further neutered by Kay. There is no benefit being away from Victor...now he's micromanaged by the doyenne. What a destroyed character.

Like Brad, Jana's backstory is so ruined. Her father was a Nazi art smuggler- they don't want to reference that. Unfortunately, the character's history is so poorly crafted that i don't know how she can survive. I really hate LML for what she did to Brad and Jana. All for the sake of Carmen Mesta....

I don't think Jana is ruined. In fact, it is quite curious...

The other day when Aucker was listing all the Scoobies' sins, he mentioned Daniel on the run and the chipmunk saga. No mention of Jana as murderer???

I guess we're supposed to forget that story.

While we know about Jana's father, we don't know about her mother, her siblings, her extended family. I am not proposing that we ever learn about that...I'm saying she's enough of a tabula rasa that they could still go there.

But I feel Jana's death could help shake some pieces loose on this canvas (Mac and Kevin? Kevin and Amber, freeing up Daniel for someone else?), and it would Kevin that Love Story beat, which he would rock. Jana's unrelenting headaches need to be addressed. Remember, the doctor only got 99% of her tumor...
