And then maybe Brittany can come back and hook up with Cane, and the joy will be tripled!

LOL.

I really don't say this about Cane to agitate you, sincerely. I'd be FINE with him going.

I just don't feel it. Goddard is LOVED over there. There is a reason he's one of the few LML characters/actors still haunting CBS Television City.

But did you have to say Brittany? Good god, the mere name hurts my eyes.

LMAO! Mark H I wonder if I should let you know of the speculation about

Jill possibly being involved in the scheme somehow

Exactly why this show sucks so much. They keep too much crap on that isn't working and make it worse over time.

I really hope I never get to that dark and scary place.

I'd take Jack Smith's final year as HW on this show over this crap on now ANY day, how sad is that?

I didn't see a problem with Jack Smith. Maybe because I was alright with Katherine & Jill being family. But I also had a Lily with goals under Jack Smith. Maybe I was blind to the fact that he was doing bad things.

Someone needs to start the "LET DANIEL GODDARD BE FREE" thread...

No, someone needs to start the "Let Eva Marcille, Daniel Goddard, Christel Khalil, Tammin Sursok, Bryton, Judith Chapman, Ted Shackelford, *insert others here* be free" thread.

It's not a dark and scary place. At least the show had variety and nice character driven storylines back then. Smith had huge clunkers, but it was in the classic Y&R style.

More and more, I'm missing vintage the Y&R style. I miss what the show used to be and the types of storylines it used to tell. The show feels hallow, I know they try, but so much depth is missing from most of these storylines. I don't like this new "contemporary" Y&R, I miss the old show that existed before Latham came in and changed everything and MAB now trying to update the show.

Just as long as you don't start wishing LML back... or did that happen already? Anyway, the show sure needs plenty of changes, but it's still not unwatchable. I still don't FF any of it, even though it irritates me from time to time.

The writers are getting too stuck in making up something that doesn't work and then pushing it on us. Once they were crowned as "gold" by all the reporters and fans, they're on a power trip and any lame suggestion from Sheffer or Hamner will obviously be seen. I hate that. Damn, now I miss Griffith's little January 2008-feel.

He always seemed to start up stories with too much gusto and then lost steam as they progressed. So the end result was pretty unsatisfactory.

Well...well...I would have figured

Kay might be in behind it. In other words, she did do a switch, but it was in adulthood after the non-flatline death, not infancy

.

Exactly why this show sucks so much. They keep too much crap on that isn't working and make it worse over time.

This is also why they keep Heinle. They love her. She is among the most popular on set. Bad reason.

I'd take Brittany over Cane any day. ANY day.

Sweet dmarex? Et tu, dmarex?

I thought Jack Smith's final year was fine. More than fine. Daniel on the run. Cassie's death. I loved that year.

Oh, puhleez, who suggested the lame Brittany & Cane pairing? Terrible!

Babe Brit with that snooze-fest, sleepy-looking, annoying guy...

The final year had some solid moments, and it was probably the last time Y&R had any greatness. However, the latter part of 2005 wasn't so good, Sheila's return was more Gotham City than Genoa City...

But regardless, I'd take 2005 over anything that's happened since.

Yeah, but I guess now I look back on it more fondly because everything that came after it sucked so much more.
