It is a tough business and there are not a lot of roles for African American actresses, but she is young enough that she should be able to find some projects. Members Darn Posted June 7, 2009 Members Share Posted June 7, 2009 I never got the big deal about her accent, I barely noticed one. I had a problem with her enunciation early on but she became so clearly comfortable in the role that all that minor stuff went away. She just looked like she belonged, her and MG had MAD chemistry, they were the best younger couple I've ever seen on Y&R. She clicked instantly with her on-screen parents and brother, she just fit like a glove. And I liked CK and Lily and Daily before CK left, I wasn't all crazy about them but they were enjoyable.
