Will they ever update this thing or are they trying to beat Y&R's record for most years with an outdated opening?. I thought for sure they would get a new one when the show went to HD but that didnt happen. Saw it just now and it still has Justus who was killed off how many years ago?

Anytime I've ever watched the GH opening (and believe me I try to avoid that show like the plague), I've always wondered why didn't also have a shot at the end of all the contract actresses on the show as well, and then they could rotate them between the men and the women.

If you have to ask, then it's obvious you don't watch GH.

GH is about Teh Men. The women are merely there to revolve around Teh Men. Giving the actresses a shot like that might make them think they are somehow important to the show. Cannot have that.

ETA: Meant to add that I think honestly one reason they haven't updated the opening yet is that GH reportedly has an enormous number of actors with contracts up this year and a lot of negotiations going on. Probably holding off on re-doing it until some of that dust has settled.

It is just funny that OLTL found time to put Vanessa and Lola in the opening and AMC has Natalia who is nothing more now than a day player cop but GH has not found room to put Claudia in the opening.

LMFAO, I agree. Thank God I watch AMC and OLTL and not GH.

I get excited during old clips when they show the old opening with the ambulance.Don't know why but I liked it better.

If it is too expensive, they could do an animated opening using that free software that they use on Pratt Falls.

And Y&R, as the #1 soap, with the most experienced EP...I don't worry about these things too much...but this absence of an update is truly unforgiveable. I wish they'd do away with that opening, since I'm so bored of that version of Nadia's Theme.

yet tehy kept Alan in and the shot of all the men at the end. The oeneing looks incredibly uneven with the gaps those characters left sicne no one replaced them. Luke is onscreen for too long and its pretty noticeable
