Speaking for myself, this thread was SO fun a for a few weeks. We were all gelling and having a good time - then all the bad writing talk began, and who should write this, and who should be fired and then those damned drums. We had about 9 pages of writer talk. People would comeinto the room to tell people to stop talking about things because it was not interesting to THEM!? Then it ALL went downhill.

i never mock people for liking people I dislike, or disliking people I like, but some people seem determined to antagonize folks for what THEY like. It's just not cool or fun.

ETA: I seem to recall people even coming in and saying - Wow! People are actually talking about the show? And no fighting?

It's just comments in the heat of the moment... those things you think in your head but rarely ever post... I do understand why things are the way they were and frankly I don't even know how I got to this place...

Good one.

Apparently I am the bad guy and Sylph is shocked for something I didn't even do.

And that Ana stuff.... they have Patty Weaver to sing whenever they need, but they only use Jamia? Why oh why?

I have no words... About "love dovey" PMs and "crushes" on Alvin and the like... And about how it all reached these levels...

But hey, that's good, if I have no words, I might stop posting about it.

I don't have a gay agenda. I have a good story agenda. GR's Kevin as a straight romantic lead only works if he's with Lily or AL' Coleen. Otherwise, make him gay or him asexual and see if EO'B can hot with someone else. This is what I mean by writing to an actor's natural strengths.

At best, it's a draw. We're losing one good male actor who has chemistry with his co-stars and getting back another good male actor who has chemistry his co-stars. The thing is, the show is very low on on good male actors who have chemistry with their co-stars. I wish we had CE and MM on canvas. As a rule, the young male actors on this show are seriously lacking the kind of sex appeal that comes from being able to sell an Alpha male. MM does have that quality, so that's good. But who else has that? Nick has been neutered by the writing & JM can't find the "it" he used to have. DG, MG, GR and Bryton never had it. Billy Miller sometimes has it but not consistently. David Lago & TL do have the quality, even though their characters are pale, but the actors can bring it out if given the chance. Hogan Sheffer says he like to write men with balls but he has to have the actors who can actually deliver that. Let's hope that "P3" and

can bring some of that to screen.
