Members MarkH
This poor lady cannot win And it is a sign of how problematic her hire is that even I can't defend her
Members dm.
Wouldn't that be a great gift for a viewer? A good cause for celebration.
Members MarkH
Yup, me too. I genuinely look forward to each episode, and I never feel "that was a dud". Some days are clearly better than others, but each day has remarkable moments. For me, today, getting a full peek into Adam's plan unfolding, seeing Nikki's sick little visit to Victor, watching Kay/Nina/Amber in the same same scene (and Jeanne crack up at Adrienne's facial expressions)...these made the show worthwhile. And yesterday...with the whole Jill-Kay thing with the governor...PRICELESS.

Members Y&RWorldTurner
Look on the bright side, I guess. In a year, her contract is up, and since they barely use her now, we can only hope they don't bother to re-new it, but it doesn't sound like she wants to re-new it either. She really wants to forge a "big" film career it seems.
Members Cashton
I will rue the day if TS survives MTS on Y&R.
Members dm.
OMG I just realize it's the summer of 2010.... that's too much. When you get the plague you're supposed to get rid of it, not keep it there.
Members MarkH
Maybe they can save her $$ and pay MTS with it? See above...great minds think alike. There is no justice if (the admittedly more expen$ive MTS) goes, but TS stays.

Members dm.
TS surviving MTS is a really depressing thought. Really REALLY depressing.
Members rhythmchyc
That's the best news I heard since, since, since... forever!! Rad! More importantly... 5 YEAR CONTRACT?!?!??!?!?!?!?!
Members dm.
Yes! They can do the same with Marcille. But that's a full year left.... during which she'll probably do another 3-4 movies. You know, because she mysteriously can.
Members BadZoe
Either I'm getting bored with the show, or hearing that MTS is being shafted while the men get to keep their same salaries, has made me lose interest.
Members brimike
That's just wrong on every level. TAKE THE PAY CUT, MELODY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! Big deal - you can't get $200.00 haircuts anymore. It's okay! The writers survived without them, and so can you!
Members MarkH
Surely this woman has AT LEAST a 26-week contract cycle? I really want to get past this phase. Do we really have to wait till 2010. I'm worried, with all these outs she has been getting, each one leads to a contract extension.
