I know eh. Isn't Kate just fun to watch right now. She really is saving this storyline or else it would just be dull. Cause whenever she's not on - if it's just Dan/Chloe or Lucas/Chloe scenes, it sucks.

OMG, My favorite show is crappy right now!!! Sami is at the DiMera Mansion and Stefano burst in carrying on about Phillip and his bimbo and Sami defends Phillip, but doesnt defend her first cousin Stephanie, who Stefano was calling a Bimbo!!! The Stephanie and Phillip love story could have had some great stuff with Victor, Kayla, Steve, Caroline, Bo, and Hope involved, even throw in a visit from Kimberly to give her a little talk about the Kiriakis Men. Caroline and Kimberly both bed Victor and could have tried to stop Stephanie from making the same mistake with the new bad boy. Bo and Steve could have tried to put a little Scare into Phillip, while Hope and Kayla tried to be sound minds in the situation. When Will first seen Mia, it should have been an "OMG, Its you" moment with Will and Mia sharing a recent past and we learn that Grace was Will's baby and Sami's GrandChild! The Bo Brady tells the future stuff is a bore! Bo and Hope should be on some adventure somewhere. This show really needs some new blood who likes history and rich family stories. The Carvers have a boring life, Abe needs an assistant to shake things up in his life, while Lexie is throwing all her attention on Theo, Abe gets jealous and find comfort in the arms of another woman.

Stefano didnt mention Stephanie. He just said and his bimbo, Sami has been away since before Stephanie & Philip got together so she prob doesnt even know who he was talking about.

Sami & Ej were fantastic. I really like Phil & Steph and am loving Will & Mia.

Not really, she only spoke to roman a few times and EJ like once.

And since shes been back, shes only had scenes with her family really.

But still, I just dont see Sami humping down Stefano's throat for calling Stephanie a bimbo, when i cant recall one scene where Sami & Stephanie interacted. However for saying he wanted to pretty much murder philip? yes i see her jumping on him about that. I always liked the sami & philip relationship. Esp when Kyle was in the role.

Speaking of Kyle, he and Ali do a podcast together :)

I have been watching Days for over 25 years. I do think the show has gotten better recently.

Today, Wes Ramsey's new mysterious character appeared. We only saw a partial on his face as he was on the phone talking to Stefano. I was originally thinking he was going to be an Eric recast. Now I'm wondering who this character will turn out being.

I'm liking some things about Days and not liking others. I just don't know about Kate's plot to kill Chloe. I was a little ticked off that they didn't show Kate's reaction to Stefano's veiled threat against Philip. I really wanted to see that reaction. She has a friendly relationship with Stefano, so there should be some angst between them with Stefano determined to get revenge.

Today, I liked Melanie for the first time. :o

I agree.

That really is a wek storyline, the ony good thing about it for me is the chem between NB & SC.

They have been really smart about her recently. Scaled her way back, humbled her a bit, and seem to now know what the purpose of her is and where they are taking her. The comedy bits are great.

    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
