Karen was never a real character; Nia Peeples tried her best and MAB added some layers to her but so far it just just never took off. We've to keep in mind that David's ouster was common knowledge long before his last airdate. Maybe Karen will soon go bullsh*t crazy?

Nina and Neil could work.... I do have to wonder who they will put Nina with..... Neil is really the only actor in her age group and from that era.... 2 established characters and very capable actors.... they could work it.

They'd have to re-write again Cane's age.... because when he came onto the scene wasn't it stated Phillip was born in 1976.... I guess that wouldn't be that hard to do, however seems kind of a big jump from almost marrying jail bait to dating a mid 40's lady. What is with Lily being paired with all these old men...
