OLTL: Discussion for the week February 9

They're supposed to be two of OLTL's hunks.

I also haven't seen any chemistry between JPL and his love interests, or to be frank, many of today's leading men. I don't say that because of Fish, just because your post made me realize how many of the show's leading men struggle for chemistry. I would say the exceptions are Tuc Watkins (who is only part time), Trevor St. John (which is a problem since Todd has become so horrible I don't even want to see him in a romance for a long time), and possibly Mark Lawson and the guy who plays Jared.

Sigh! I love him. LOL.

Speaking of OLTL hunks, Josh Casabon (former Hugh Hughes) had a part on last night's DAMAGES. I've begun watching primetime for the first time ever. I never watched much TV and OLTL was kind of my one guilty pleasure, but no more.

Interesting, look at this.....

All these characters had either zero, one, or two lines today...

Antonio, Talia, Layla, Marcie, Michael, Cristian, and Vanessa.

I think you can add Natalie and Jared to that list.

Today was GLORIOUS!!! Its time to write Todd Manning out the show now. Llanview can do without him for a few years. I loved everything about today eppy!!

I think everything's been character-driven just to make whatever sweeps stunts in store pop.

I dig Stac(e)y Morasco. Hell, I dig the Morasco sisters. It seems as if we're going to have sibling rivalry take hold of Llanview (Morascos, Jess & Nat, David & Clint/Bo, Antonio & Cris). I like that.

Today's episode was fascinating.

So far I'm liking how they've set up Gigi vs. Stac(e)y.

I'm a sucker for violence, so I loved the ending with Todd/Wes & Tea/Marty. For me, I was yelling "It's about time someone hit that beyotch."

All of these women constantly punching each other is getting lame.

I DO like the Gigi and her sister dynamic. This girl seems alright in the acting department.

The David Buchanan thing is anticlimatic, lame, I am just over it.

I am already over Y&R, but I am trying to hang in with OLTL.

Farah Fath has some abilities, but emotional scenes are a mistake. The scene where she found out her parents were dead was just wrong. She has some very bad habits with body language and facial expressions. She looked ET-ish.

I enjoyed most of today's show, most of the charismatic performers were front and center. I'll be glad when David is gone again. They've made the Buchanans look like horribly selfish, self-righteous people for months, and while David will be history soon (until yet another return), the Buchanans are staying around. Between this and the way Bo is reacting to Matthew, they've become completely insufferable.

Go Tea! Im glad someone finally hit Marty and shut her up. The hit was weak though and could have used a bit more direction

I dont feel bad for the Buchs. they are all hypocrites bc they gave Natalie hell for months bc she didnt tell the truth about who Asa's son is to protect them which caused them to lose their company. What do they do? They dont tell the truth about Asa's son as well and also end up losing the company

I wanted somebody to punch Viki today. What a sanctimonious hypocrite. How long did Viki keep Ben's identity as a real Buchanan a secret? And the way she marched into that conference with the Buchanan's, she had no business being there. I actually agree that the Buchanans were wrong to keep David in the dark, and I think they're slowly coming to realize they would have been better off to bring him into the fold earlier when they could have had some control over the terms. But Viki has no vested interest, and she had no business imposing her judgement on Clint and Bo.
