My favorite is the comment under the vid where someone says "When he looks to his right, just before saying the product name—this is the moment you can plainly see he hates his life."

I love BWE.com.

And yes, Rebecca's goodbye broke my heart. LK really knows how to tug at the heartstrings.

Surely it can't all be Pratt's fault? Why start this huge story and bring on a big daytime actress, only to completely drop it THAT HARD 3/4 of the way through? Rebecca and Natalia was his big first Jesse/Angie story and he started it right when he came on board. It was going well and it was like Rebecca was going to live....then all of a sudden those two characters completely drop off the planet, and then there is this quick one day return for her exit. It sounds like some backstage drama where he was forced to sit on the storyline until decisions were made by the higher ups/execs?

I don't think he doesn't like them...I mean one of his first stories was this mysterious past of Jesse's...right?

But yes, I do believe he prefers Angie over Jesse...and in the last few months Jesse has been reduced to an amped version of Derek Frye. Because yeah, the latter half of this Rebecca storyline was all about Angie and Rebecca getting along and their reactions, etc.

I will say Frankie's airtime has been reduced ever since Brot showed his face and Randi's pimp was killed. And Randi has now just taken over Amanda's place at Fusion...now that Amanda has stepped up into the Babe role with more storyline.

Yeah, its clear the Hubbards are not a priority for Pratt...... I am very interested to see just where their story goes once Rebecca is out of the picture for good.

Anyone notice though that the Hubbards are in the banner at abc.com's AMC site....

I found that interesting. I still often wonder why Adam isn't there.

Yeah, I'm really disappoint in the way this story was handled. I know a lot of people hated Rebecca but I really wanted her to stay on. Main characters should have lots of messy complicated relationships. Having Jesse's ex-wife and daughter in town would actually solidify the Hubbard presence. And if they put Rebecca with Tad now we have the makings of the kind of weird extended family that is a staple of soaps. But instead Rebecca's going to be dead soon, Natalia's living 90% of her life offscreen and Frankie vanishes a little more every week.

He treats Angie like David does.

Like Jesse sending Angie to her room when Jake visited or Angie's bubbleheaded speech to David that got her arrested.

Jesse's worse.

Pratt's made him into Derek 2.0 & not in a good way.

Cornelius & Shannon are wallpaper.

And Rebecca's dead.

It didn't even qualify as a story.

It was a contrived plot device to give Darnell & Debbi something to do as a way to avoid writing for them.

The whole godawful story has been about Angie.

Jesse didn't even merit consideration & it really showed via Darnell.

Cornelius has been working hard but he's shackled to DV's non acting ass.

And certain viewers have used his beating up Fletcher ONCE to pretty much write the character & actor off altogether.

DV still can't act but she has more spark with Daniel Kennedy than Cornelius.

    • In theory, a Hidden Passions mini-series would be fantastic, wouldn't it?
    • Awe, thank you @DemetriKane! I so appreciate it. She really is; she's a strong principal guest, and I cannot wait to see what this next year has in store for her.
    • @Liberty City I look forward to your write ups everyday.

And I couldn't be happier, I loved her from the beginning. She's a great addition to the cast.   Same. The only one I truly like and root for is Nicole.
    • Mona... quit being a 'pick me'.  You're nothing to the Duprees except the help.  Now when you find out what Silk Press Sheila did to Laura than you can go off on her... until then.. stay quiet. I prefer the Joey/Vanessa scenes because they aren't the Duprees. Am I supposed to root for the Duprees?  I don't tend to root for, nor sympathize with those that come from privilege.  I'll always root for the underdog.
    • Sheila in that Bill/Liam scene was utterly pointless and ruined the moment completely. Bell needs to cut his losses with KB, he clearly has NO idea what to do with Sheila    LMFAO
    • I liked that realism, too.  (DanaLeslie/Lulu/whoever  is still shifty enough to have paid someone to learn those details over the years, though)

date: Monday, May 12 | Sara A. Bibel, Jazmen Darnell Brown | Anthony Pascarelli Teddy Boy. Teddy Bear. DEADBEAT! Now we know where Deadbeat gets it from. Vanessa in a random two-second spotting with Deadbeat? Oh, okay then! Dana is selling herself to Nicole right now. Oh, look who it is... Anita showing up to support Dani in her demure confrontation with Deadbeat2. Mona is not playing with Eva; from "backstabbing heifer" to "girl bye", she is not playing with her. At all. Joey is fully playing Vanessa, and she's so easily falling for it. C'mon, honey, don't do that. Shanice is going to be a comfort board for Douglas when he takes her advice and helps him heal himself. Mona going off on Dana just like she deserves. Mama Dupree went off: "Handle your business!" Could Eva and Randy be potentially paired for a one-night stand? That could be an interesting twist. Damn Mona with the continued burns, this time for Dana: "Hell was made for people like you, Leslie. Enjoy the burn." Anita questioning her own decisions and instincts feels really natural and real. It's a nice change of pace from the other matriarchs we've seen established in American daytime. Now the true Dana/Ted scenes are coming out. Anita warning Eva that she'll never be a part of the Dupree family shows the claws are fully out. Teddy fully calling Dana "demented" and "psychotic" is going to cause some problems, won't it? Notes: I fully need Maurice Johnson (Ted) gone yesterday; his performances are just not selling to me. Love seeing Tamara Tunie (Anita) beginning to get her teeth into the meat of the scripts. It's about time. Karan Kendrick (Mona) delivered today!!! She's such a breath of fresh air.
    • Oh yeah Leslie is Sheila Carter levels of delulu    Damnit, Ambyr Michell you gutted me with that quivering lip
    • Damn, Anita doesn't play, that was pretty vicious.  I hope Eva gets her redemption.
