Erica must decide whether to have a Josh's heart transplanted into Kendall. Josh's last moments w/ Erica are emotional - he declares his love for both Kendall & Erica.

Poor Erica

Erica is pressured by David & by Zach to consent to the transfer, & even though Josh has been declared brain dead, Erica will be forever haunted by her decision.

These two insensitive idiots  How would they feel if they had to decide between 2 of their children to see which one you allow to die.

After a successful transplant surgery, Erica allows Jack to bring her home where (according to Susan Lucci) they share some well-written & layered scenes.

  JERICA. WHOO :P

AMC is casting the role of Hillary, a 20-something manipulative woman w/ an agenda. She will cross paths w/ JR.

Hmm. So does Amanda waffle between Jake and David? Works for me. I think David has far more chemistry with Amanda than KWAK and Jake more with her than Taylor.

Amanda is pregnant. She tells JR that he is the father, & tells David that the baby isn't his. Amanda makes an appointment to have an abortion, but changes her mind. Amanda decides to give the baby up for adoption. JR doesn't want the baby given up for adoption, but promises to respect Amanda's decision.

Let's see. Amanda preggers with David's kid and what if JR/Adam hide that from him? Sweet revenge?

If Zendell fans are doing the same thing to her that they did to Cady, I can imagine that she felt she had to make some kind of statement to get them off her back.

I remember Cady's blog entries indicated she was getting quite a bit of hate mail from Zendell fans.

I am one Zendall fan that cannot relate to this. Being a fan, to me, is not about slamming other actor/actresses- I don't even write fan mail or send e-mails outside of work. *L*

But, like Zendall (as indivduals and as a couple), being a fan of their makes everything our fault (or so I repeatedly read here).

As for what TK did, I always took it that actors interpret a scene, as written- possibly consult the writer to be sure that their tact is ok- and then act on this input. So, it is possible that Pratt was ok with his interpretation and the audience is STILL expected- and able- to make their own decisions on a scene.

Who knows! But I do blame Pratt for making me dislike Zach again. In fact, I dislike most of the characters on the show. I am excited to see what Kendall will do when she wakes up and finds out all of this crap... but I am sure he will make me dislike her too (but I still root for her, even when dead-ass wrong and she gets her comeuppance). Or make you all hate her more.

Oh well. *sigh*

Wow once again TB has to come out and EXPLAIN actions of characters.

I don't blame her. She's trying to make sure Reese isn't hated. I would, too, if the writers gave me such a crappy storyline that defaces gay couples.

Laura Koffman's stint as the dying Rebecca will soon come to an end.

Any hope this means that her stint as the not-dying, alive and well Rebecca will begin? *grasps at straws*

Aw, I doubt it, but good thinking! B)

But, like Zendall (as indivduals and as a couple), being a fan of their makes everything our fault (or so I repeatedly read here).

In the one instance that I was referring to yes it was. The Zendell fans were the ones at the time that hated Cady and did send the hate mail so yes in that instance it was their fault.

And I said IF that is the reason Tamara spoke out assuring fans they were just friends then yes it would be the fault again. Based on past experience that would be my first guess.

If this had been about the Jabe fans who I did refer to in another thread concerning the Josh character then it would be about them. i also posted in another thread about the wars between the Lumi & EJami fans and etc.

All I can say is when fan bases put themselves out there in stuff like that then it opens them for ridicule and name calling. That is not to say that every member of a fan base acts that way but sadly when we lump ourselves into a group we often get judged by the acts of the majority and not the minority.

It is just like not all Republicans are bigoted right wingers and not all Democrats are left wing liberals but that is the general assumption made about them and that is what they get labeled and tied to.

True, but it still bugs... so I make light of it along with my opinions. Yes, fanbases can go too far, but then, writers become fans themselves (or Frons!) and we still suffer because THEY begin pimping THEIR favorites to the annoyance of all.

All I can hope for is that I can see some good soap. I hate that they are killing Josh they could have fixed him, hell, integrating him into the Kane-Slater family was the BEST idea wrt this character (even his brushing up against his Martin clan was ok). And having him at Cambius was cool with me, since it seemed to focus and ground him as mush as his growing attachment to the Slater-Kane family did.

It just feels rushed and very sloppy. Even as a Greenlee disliker (they have TOTALLY wrecked this character with BOTH Rylee versions), I could have seen him drawn to her- BOTH times she was around. I could also see him paired up with Amanda. Hell, if you want to reticon, why not rewrite him as Kendall's twin and that Madden made it all up to further shore up his "ownership" of Josh?

I mean, if we could believe that Jesse didn' die, why not rewrite Josh's history (and explore Tad killing his "father") and have him deal with that? I am just sick of how the fans of these shows end up having FAR more imagination than the writers who get paid to put this on our screens.

(sorry for the rant- oh, and the "its our fault" is an inside joke for Zendall/Zack/Kendall and most Kane sibling (and JR) fans. Bad things always happens to them, so Soapgod hates them. Pratt seems to be carrying on the tradition that "G*d hates Bianca/Kendall/JR/Zach"... you get the gist. *S*)

I for one am a fan who is tired of the rewriting of history. I have been tired of it for a long time but I think Jesse Hubbard coming back from the dead was the final straw that broke the camels back with me.

I don't generally fall into agenda based viewing but that is an agenda for me to make it known to the writers at every chance I get that I am tired of sitting through stuff and devoting my valuable time to it just for them with one swipe of the pen totally wipe it out as if it meant nothing.

I wrestled with the unabortion ever since it was done. And it took me a lot of searching and coming to terms with it to even come back to AMC. To rewrite it again and undo it would be an insult to me as a fan. I say deal with it the best way possible and let it be done.

As far as jesse Hubbard's death that was a hard one for me. And I feel like it meant nothing that I shed tears and was so invested in that relationship and that death.

So I as one fan do not want another rewrite of history.

Colin Egglesfield exits when Josh dies on 1/19.

Jenna DiMartini (Corinna) & Chris Henry (Ren) appear on 1/ 22. Colby is upset w/ their insensitive reaction to Brot.

AMC is casting the role of Hillary, a 20-something manipulative woman w/ an agenda. She will cross paths w/ JR.

Tk shares that he is the one who asked that the autographed framed Red Wings jersey given to him by fans (the Zen Zone) be incorporated into the s/l as a gift from Kendall to Zach.

Ryan will face off w/ Dr. Sinclair...Tad reaches his breaking point w/ Krystal...Zach & Reese are caught in an awkward moment. Tamara Braun insists that Reese & Zach are just close friends.

AMC's tribute to Eileen Herlie (Myrtle) was editor's choice.

David turns the tables on Angie...JR learns about Amanda's pregnancy...Reese helps Zach accept the truth about his wife's condition...

A viewer loves the range of emotions that Eden Riegal & Tamara Braun deliver as Bianca & Reese...a viewer misses Kendall/Zen...

Doesn't Bianca have a younger sister?

If so she would be great in the "Hillary" role.

You can't rewrite a rewrite. It's just fixing it. Taking away the error made with the rewrite. I don't see how making Josh a con, when Greg Madden was alive for ALL DNA tests that invovled Josh were done, is a rewrite. AMC left themselves the con window and it could have easily been taken, and done no harm.

I wrestled with the unabortion ever since it was done. And it took me a lot of searching and coming to terms with it to even come back to AMC. To rewrite it again and undo it would be an insult to me as a fan. I say deal with it the best way possible and let it be done.

I wish it was that simple for me. I've wrestled with it since that day in September 05 when Fons' email to me (yes I have the email still) revealed that Josh was the unabortion. I fought to change it. I sold my soap soul to try and save Erica and Josh from this very fate. And it was all for nothing. It was absolutely pointless. The last three years have meant nothing. They rewrote a storyline that they'd originally written with dignity and respect, for sci-fiction trash, and they didn't blink an eye. Now he's dead, and it's like we're supposed to just pretend that none of that happen. Let them get away with it. What else are they going to take away from AMC before they finally run it into the ground?

I wish all the time I could forgive and forget. Get past this and have my show back. But I'm yet to be able to do so, and Josh dying has done nothing but rub salt in already open wounds. Maybe one day, I'll be able to feel something resembling what I felt before that fateful day in Jan. 06, or maybe not. But I'd have liked to at least known that AMC still cared about there own show half as much as I once did. :(

Wow. I feel your pain on this Kylie. The story didn't affect me as strongly as it did you but I understand. I suspect you'll be roasted for what you've said but not by me. The bolded part is exactly the reason I put OLTL's rapemance in the same category as AMC's unabortion.

Damn, and for a while there AMC was becoming must-see TV. I'm losing interest in this show. I'm not feeling any forward momentum.

I'm sure I will be roasted, but thank you for understanding, not many people do. Everyone has a straw that breaks them when it comes to soaps, and Josh was mine. I don't know why it effected me more then most, but it does, and it always will, and it has forever changed the way I view AMC. :( I wanted Josh to live a long life now that he was here. I wanted it all to have meant something in the grand scheme of things. If AMC had to do this, then I wanted there to be some silver lining at the end of it. Not just a whitewash that will make it like Josh never existed in a couple of months.
