January 5, 200917 yr Member I have a feeling this is going to be a bad week.... I'm thinking so too because last week was such a good week for soaps.
January 5, 200917 yr Member From NBC: For the week of December 22-26, "Days" (1.3/7 among women 18-49, 1.1/7 among women 18-34) tied for #4 in the women 18-49 category and ranked #2 in the women 18-34 demo. *** Usually Days gets a pretty good bump up in the ratings for the holiday weeks, at least in total viewers and something positive in the 18-49. But this has Days dropping .1 in the 18-49 and staying the same in the 18-34. If they don't get that good bump for NY's week, then that show is really going to be in trouble
January 6, 200917 yr Member I predict Y&R at 3.7 OLTL at 2.0. AMC at 2.0. Or watch they will both hit a 1.9. LOVELY. Days probably tied B&B for #4 in the 18-49, or OLTL. I think it is going to be a bad week as well. I don't watch AMC, but I hate to see AMC and OLTL trending downward and I think it is just a matter of time. 1 point anything is terrible to see 1.9, 1.8- scary. The entire ABC lineup needs to do something about their 18-49. They used do so well in that all important demo.
January 6, 200917 yr Member DAYS is kicking a ton of ass and I couldn't be happier. Third in total viewers! NBC should be proud.
January 6, 200917 yr Member 3.9 for Y&R on Monday?? What happened? That's a pretty big variation....pretty far above what they have been getting. Was there extra promotion for that episode or a big cliffhanger to resolve from Friday?
January 6, 200917 yr Member Here is what aired in place of some soaps on Christmas Day... Christmas Day Overnight HH Ratings: NBA on ABC, Spurs/Suns (2:30-5 PM ET, Thursday) - 3.2 NBA on ABC, Celtics/Lakers (5-7:30 PM ET, Thursday) - 5.3/14 Golf on CBS, Chick-Fil-A Bowl Alma Mater (taped) (2:30-4:30 PM ET, Thursday) - 0.7/2 Ice Skating on NBC, Smucker's presents Hot Ice, Cool Sounds (taped) (3-5 PM ET, Thursday) - 1.1/3
January 6, 200917 yr Member Why didn't CBS count Wed? In some cases it was almost the highest rated day of the week.
