LMFAO!!

I know that I sometimes get nitpicky with OLTL, but I just have to say that the Christina thing is just...pointless? Without purpose? Like, okay, it would make sense for it to be mentioned in maybe one or two of the day's stories, and even then, it shouldn't be mentioned throughout the whole episode. But almost every single character is making this enormously epic deal out of it...and why? Why!!?!?!?!

Wha...??? Christina what??? Whatever.

Cute ending, except for that confusing movie stuff. Loved Viki and Charlie, could use more and their own story too.

I didn't mind Rex and Gigi today, and Jared and Natalie was cute. But Blair with John is just boring and repeat, rinse, wash again. Brody is a great new addition, great actor and great to look at :)

LMAO! I was wondering who the freak Christina was as well, people. At first, I thought it was a real movie. But then when everyone started watching, and they were showing clips, I knew it was just a made up thing because it looked like a soap itself. And if I'm not mistaken, the exterior scenes in the movie take place outside La Boule (Dorian's house).

Christina Comes Home for Christmas, my new favorite OLTL staple.

Hey, he was the only one on the whole show who had the courage to toss Donna's ass down some stairs. Someone had to do it. Just too bad he happened to be her boyfriend at the time...not that I condone violence, of course.

Today's show was okay, despite the Christina thing being just way too much fluff for me. I like the Jess/Brody interaction and I think I'd like them together. I stopped caring so much about this show a good while ago, but Jared still gets my motor running, of course. Viki looked so diva when she strolls into the diner wearing that fabulous coat. I love Roxy, as always, and I like Rex and Shane, but Gigi still irks me to no end. And would someone please set fire to Layla and Sarah, pleeeease?

I really love Roxy. And I enjoyed all the references to Rex and Natalie's childhood. Something BAlsom this way comes (IhopeIhopeIhopeIhope). I thought Roxy's call to "Dumplin" (LOL) was sweet at the end, and Natalie seemed so moved. No babies for Jarlie anytime soon.

Figures the entire town's favorite Holiday movie is about a dead kid. Explains a lot.

Doubt that's the last we've heard of that 16 year old runaway from the newsflash Carlotta was listening to.

Typical Viki. She's banished so many from her life that she now has to go back and unbanish a few.

    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.

Newsom is a craven opportunist, but his comments today were exactly how better people need to handle Trump.
