Members DRW50
That was hilarious. Please register in order to view this content Maybe I'm just desperate for amusement. The great white hope breaks out of Riverdale. Considering who we have in the White House and that the most popular VP America had in decades both don't seem to care about profanity, maybe we'll finally get past the usual tedious pearl-clutching over naughty words. Of course if a Democratic speaker had said that he'd be expelled from the House...

Members Wales2004
I hope people who are going to prematurely praise Trump for demanding pharmaceutical companies lower drug prices and promising them deregulation understand that the nominal reduction in prices they would see would be at the expense of public safety. His 2-for-1 deregulation plan might sound good to people who think that the key to greatness is cutting regulation/government. While there are certainly some regulations that probably need to be revised, there are many that are in place to protect the public.

Members Wales2004
Maybe he was encouraged to postpone it so that he could get the media to completely focus on his Supreme Court Nomination rose ceremony. Yes, for those who have not heard, the remaining two candidates are supposed to be in D.C. today and speculation is they will both be present at the announcement.

Members Khan
And not a moment too soon. When they allowed Trump to host -- something that never would have happened even during the Dick Ebersol era -- they lost whatever credibility and respect they had managed to hold onto. Now, if we could find some way to get Fallon booted from "The Tonight Show".... For some reason, I'm curious as to why Paul Ryan felt that press conference was a waste of his time. Does he hold as much contempt for the media as do Trump, Bannon and Spicer? Does he know that no amount of press conferences with pat statements will put an end to this circus? Is it a combination of the two? Is it something else entirely? Why, Paulie, do you think that press conference was a [!@#$%^&*] waste of time?
