You can't get back into Twitter unless you delete the tweets in question.  Once Trump deletes everything he's asked to delete, his 12 hour suspension begins.  He can read tweets (or have them read to him at bedtime) but won't be able to post for the duration of the suspension.  This is the only reason he's deleting anything...because he can't get in until he does.
