My news is currently reporting on this and has mentioned that since this is a criminal indictment, it is very serious.

The anchor mentioned the possibility of someone being taken into custody within days but the indictment is sealed.

I guess those JFK Files ain't gonna cut it, in terms of a distraction.

It's all so predictable at this point. In fact the deflection to Hillary Clinton who is not even a danger, she's a private citizen, out of politics is laughable but the GOP has nothing else, They bring back a debunked Uranium story. Then the Fusion GPS stuff which is a non story because I believe back in January it was reported the Democrats took it over from whoever started it. Now it was reported tonight it was the Washington Examiner, a Conservative publication, that funded it. On behalf of who knows - maybe Jeb Bush. Add that to the conflict in the Congressional committees - the GOP had to know what was coming.

On a side note I'd love for the indictments to be for Kushner or even Trump Jr. but my guess is it's Manafort and possibly Page or Flynn. Manafort has been dirty for years and my guess is that he'll flip because my assumption is Schneiderman in NY has a RICO case against him which is off limits of presidential pardon capability.

The other consideration is remember the FBI was already investigating at the time Mueller came on.

I read that Trump was unhappy that parts would still be redacted. I have an idea as to why.  That's neither here nor there anyway.

Folks also need to remember that it matters not whether the actual election results were affected by the act, the criminality is in the act of collusion itself, with a foreign entity.

That in itself is criminal and likely treasonous.

Nixon didn't go down because he changed any votes, he went down because his operatives broke into the Democratic National headquarters trying to find information.

That has never been alleged, but with the way things are going it wouldn't be surprising if evidence of that came up. The investigation is about collusion with a foreign nation to influence the election, which is just as bad as tampering with votes.

If you keep talking, the truth isn't really true, right? You are clearly trying to console yourself here.

Also, there was proven voter suppression in Democratic leaning districts in states like Wisconsin that likely directly affected the results.  That's almost a separate matter at this point.

You've said it, I've said it, if trolls want to play dumb, they can do so but I'm not going to waste time with trolls arguing about the basics.

There is a criminal indictment and so far, we've been reading about Manafort's very shady dealings with pro-Russian operatives in Ukraine.

We've also heard about Trump Jr. meeting with Russians to try to get dirt on HRC and then lying about it.

We've also heard about Carter Page trying to ingratiate himself with the Russians.

Anyone who doesn't see the 'recurring decimal' here is beyond hope and I will waste no more of my time with him/her.

    • If the shooter is Arnold, I am not going to be happy. Agreed.  Again, I really like the pace of the mystery. RonC always wrote a shocking crime, then it would be solved only through exposition at the end.  I feel like the audience is being shown some respect by them carefully closing all the loopholes.  For example, having Shawn-D call Rafe to turn in his gun was a clever device to get Gabi to confess. As much as I agree with @carolineg about the odd shift in Sophia's character, this plot is starting to make me angry.  A woman is denied an abortion and forced to raise a child?  It is gross.  The stomach pains are a hopeful foreshadowing.  But, if she fakes pregnancy, or hides his miscarriage, I am going to scream!!! Roman continues to be a mench, but I have to admit that I can never keep track of the difference between Max and Benjy.  I guess it helps that Benjy is dead.  Are Max and Benjy still related to Carly?
    • If Sally Field had been more generous about the writing I would say that her assessment is really very fair. I found Soapdish very funny. The cast is great. Delirious with John Candy and Mariel Hemingway (and Emma Samms!) came out the same year and I had expected to prefer Delirious, but Soapdish is one that I can watch repeatedly.
    • I love SOAPDISH but I think TOOTSIE is better. Generally I am quite fond of gender-benders. VICTOR, VICTORIA, most favorite.
    • On GL we only saw young GA's Philip in very short shorts but on AMC we saw GA's Alec McIntyre in a speedo.  But, on GL, an older GA/Philip is having sex with Olivia in a hotel room where Bruce Barry was directing & he & she both end up down to nothing but black underwear & at one point his bicep is covering her entire upper body so it appears that she is naked. I think they ended up on the floor between the bed & the wall. That was when I realized that Grant's body was better than Steve Burton's. (Olivia was cheating. Her husband Alan was in the hospital.) It is notable that I can speak with any insight AT ALL about these bodies since that is not the team I play for! LOL
    • I mentioned that last week and I am glad Tate and Sophia just realized that today lol.  I think the show is just tying up some of Ron's loose ends.   You would think Brady, Holly or even Marlena would have perhaps pointed out the age thing to Tate at some point. I am not sure I like this shift in Sophia's characterization though.  MK played Sophia as someone who always defied her mom's rules-she just didn't get caught.  She was openly trying to steal Tate from Holly with no shame, showing up at the Horton cabin in bikinis to seduce him, and blackmailing Holly to work all her shifts at the Bistro.  Once the recast started the show has acted like Sophia's lived in her room, sheltered her entire life lol.
    • I thought Dante was going to put hands on Gio
    • If Jordan never appeared again, I would absolutely not notice or miss her.  So, while Brook Kerr has her flaws, she at least appears to have a pulse and a personality as Portia.
    • That's because India, or the India MKA ended up playing, was created due to the fact that both she and Kristi Farrell were liked by TPTB, but the part they both read for didn't exactly fit either one of them so the show created two brand new characters for both actresses to play (India and Roxie) and opted not to cast the character they were intending to cast (A cousin of Beth's). I think that's why the show seemed to struggle at first with how to write both India and Roxie in their first months on the show because the characters weren't ever intended to exist.  And yes.. Grant A had a great body... but I didn't find him hot when he was playing Phillip.. only when he was playing Alec on AMC which baffles me since it was the same actor in both parts LOL
    • I shared this on Twitter and good grief the comments. Steffy fans can be such vile real-life human beings over a fictional character lol.
    • I remember Michael Logan interviewed L.A. actors/production staff about the movie. Susan Seaforth Hayes said she was dying to know Susan Lucci's reaction.
