I agree. VI is no old fogie or anything, but there's something about David and Amanda that just makes me uncomfortable. I was cool with Michael Zaslow and Wendy Moniz, but skeeved out by David and Amanda... Lord knows she's of age, but there's somethig a little too child-like and vulnerable about her, perhaps that's where my discomfort is coming from??

David and Amanda are purely a fling I think...... I think Amanda and J.R will eventually be the end game and I think the writing is on the wall that Krystal and David will have an affair which will spell the end to Tad and Krystal. Thank goodness.

I wonder who Tad will be temporarily paired with, if anyone? Seems to me that the lady from Passions who's supposed to be paired with Ryan would be better for Tad. Then again, I didn't watch Passions much, but I found her a little boring. So good if she's paired with Ryan.

I actually think Tad and Harley, er, Taylor would be fun but of course there's the little issue of his brother Jake aka Gus.

The new doctor is supposed to be paired with Aidan. As far as Tad goes, I feel he has some chemistry with Taylor. Maybe they could try something there. I don't necessarily want or need another newbie on the show right now, but Tad needs some new blood and I don't think that person is currently on canvas.

Even though Melissa Claire Egan and Chrishell Stause are the same age, MCE definitely seems older. I can sort of see that point of view. People want David and Annie because they are both manipulators and deliciously evil and would work wonders together. At least that's my opinion anyway, not SOD editorial fact or anything....

Annie and David seem better suited as partners-in-crime than lovers. Marceline, I love your idea about Tad and Rebecca (miracle cure please!), that would raise some interesting stuff for Jesse and Tad, test their friendship a little. But I'd also love to see David in the mix there too, his Lujack was of the same era of Tad, Jesse, and Angie, he needs to be mixing it up with that age bracket. As I said, the David/Amanda thing is a little Roger Thorpe/Dinah Marler for me but in an ick kinda way. I think VI and LK would look great together on screen, those dark looks.

Well of course VI and SL have that same quality, but I've been there and done that with David and Erica. I don't think they have the magnetism to bring them back for anything earth shattering, they were a "season", not a "lifetime" like Erica and Jack (ugh).

That's probably it, and Amanda just doesn't carry herself like someone who's time enough for David. She still has a lot of growing up to do.

K, I think you just contradicted yourself! But I also think you'll have no worries, because David is headed in a very different direction!

All I have to say is that I am glad AMC is back to being more watchable. And kudos to the writers and MCE for bringing us crazy Annie. She has gone from being completely boring and trivial to someone I want to see on my screen. I'm impressed with the direction of her character. Just hope they don't write her into a corner . . . she needs to stay on canvas.
