I agree, I think AMC has a wonderful cast but Denise Vasi and Brianne Moncrief really stand out as the bottom of the crop. The sad part is that Cornelius, easily one of daytime's biggest finds of the year, is saddled to them. I would hate to see Cornelius' talents go to waste. He is obviously only going to stick around for one contract cycle, they should use him for all he is worth.

I remember reading about it when they first started reporting on it, but that was at least a month or two ago, and I fell out of the loop with AMC for a good little while there, and I completely forgot that this guy was the real deal. I almost scolded the make-up department up there for doing a terrible job, but....well, let's just say that I'm glad I stopped myself *somewhere* lol

Major apologies, just in case the offended party happens upon this post.....

I thought it was a good episode.

The Brot/Colby scenes were the weakest part for me mostly due to Brianne's "acting".

I'm relieved that Jake is having scenes with someone other than Taylor for a change, but I thought it was odd that Greenlee called him instead of David to operate on Aiden's aorta.

David rocked his scenes with both Krystal and Angie. I don't want him paired with Angie but they should become adversaries at the hospital so they can have more scenes like this.

I can't remember the last time a married couple on a soap had a scene where they were just lying in bed talking like Krystal & Tad did today. I love this type of realistic touch!

I was previously rooting for JR & Amanda anyway, but today's scenes have sold me on them even more.

I'm so sick of Ryan taking down the cops! I wish Jesse had cuffed him to the chair instead and gone off to save Emma all alone!

Emma nearly lost her life in a fire all because of Annie's desire for revenge, wow someone tell me NOW that Annie deserves to keep Emma? Really?

I so love David & Amanda. I hate the thought of JR and Amanda, it's as bad as Babe taking him back after he tried to kill her(and all the things she did to him). He nearly killed her and didn't once feel remorse for it, then told her it was HER fault Babe is dead. I so want her and David to take down Junior

I thought it was a decent show overall. I don't get why Greenlee called Jake either, when she said she knew just the person I naturally assumed it would be David.... have David and Greenlee even crossed paths since he came back? I don't think so. Seems weird.... maybe they are not playing it up because of well n/m that is a spoiler.

Isn't Lucy Meriam wonderful? This is the first time I think we've seen her solo in scenes with no other actors to act off of. She was great.

As much as I despise Tad and KWAK today, I thought that scene with them in bed was just so perfect. Its a typical AMC scene. It wasn't anything flashy, it was just a couple doing a real thing that most couples do before they go to bed. I really was struck by that.

    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!
