Well Di and Annie were friends long before they both debuted...so it makes sense in that...sense.

But yeah, sucks that Di has to go out this way...although if AMC was never going to bring Kelli back fulltime as Di, then I guess this makes sense? Better a familiar character than some random and/or new character.

Oh, the Hubbards! I loved them today, too. Angie and Krystal's scenes were great. I am really digging this story; Pratt could've made Rebecca a psycho bitch trying to "win" Jesse back, but she's sweet as pie and accepting of his new/old life, which, actually, makes things more complicated.

Worth the price of admission alone. *siiiigh* But another fun show overall for me.

Love Angie and KWAK as friends, think it's hysterical that Krystal's already having sexual fantasies (what she called "nightmares") about Dr. Deelish. Ha. Sorry, Thaddeus (and I am not even rooting for David and Krystal as a couple or anything).

Love Annie, slinking about in a bubble bath and towel while screwing with Ryan's head. LOVE it. And god love Cam, god love him, nice guy and all...but his acting has been in stroke out mode throughout Emma's kidnapping earning his Ryan as RageMonkey stripes again. All the screeching, whisper-shouting and slamming is tedious.

I am flip-floppy about Jake and Taylor as a couple. I am leaning towards each character being better off in other character's orbits, or at least out of potential couple orbit...for now, but am open-minded to them.

Me too. I watched them purposely in the marathon last night to give them another chance, but I'll admit I'm leaning towards Jake/Amanda (I was loving them) and Taylor/Tad or Taylor/somebody else. I'm just not feeling them.

Ryan deserves everything he's getting. LOL

Another great episode!

Krystal thinking she was having a heart attack after dreaming of David was funny to me. I loved how David taunted Tad about having his hands up his wife's blouse, too!

David & Amanda brought the chemistry today.

Poor Angie has been trying to bottle everything up and I can't wait for today to see just how much she lets out at Jesse!

I still like Taylor/Jake and I'm glad her paralysis storyline is ending sooner than later now that she has some feeling back. I thought Frankie was a little harsh with Brot, though, considering all that Brot has been through.

I loved Annie toying with Ryan and it was even better when Aidan burst in at the end and they both just smiled at each other.

I'm with Steve on everything here except I hope this kidnapping story makes SOME sort of sense. Did Annie get Di to kidnap Emma before the tornado or after? Poor Emma, and here I thought Kathy was gonna be the screwed up kid.

Lotsa great moments--especially in the last act with Aiden and Emma and with Jesse walking in on Angie and Krystal chatting (I wish we had heard them talk for a bit longer tho)

    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!
