B&B/DAYS: Pardon me, but what is wrong with Beemer's Head?

I'm still waiting for the easy, dirty thing :-).

The Beemer-Moss connection seems totally obvious to me too.

I think they should script it that, in his playboy days, Ridge knocked up Owen's momma. This would be around the time he also knocked up Morgan, or maybe shortly after his breakup with Morgan. I have no idea if the chronology works, but, in B&B's narrative, the notion that Owen has the hots for his (adoptive) grandfather Eric's wife Donna is...perfect.

But really, it is just that Owen looks SO like he could be Ridge's son...I don't see why they don't use that.

I continue to marvel that Beemer and Bjorlin are a couple. I mean, it is is beauty meets beauty. I really wish Nadia would get pregnant in real life :-). I just want to see that beautiful child.

I think part of what folks are reacting to vis-a-vis Beemer is that he has NO body fat. So every bone shows through. What a restrictive diet and exercise regime he must have. (I'd love to know EXACTLY what that is, by the way :) ).

I wouldn't qualify this thread as actor bashing -- at all.

It started out as a question: Is it just me or does this photo make his head look odd? Most people responded that Beem-Beem just has very angular features. Most were complimentary about those features. As if his looks need defending!

I'm thinking it involves tofu and steamed spinach-leaves and wheatgrass and carefully calibrated portions of fruit. + lots of water!

No carbs. No gluten. No unsaturated fats. No meat in the evening.

Beemer's muscular slimness adds to that air of fragility that his eyes give off.

I can see why you would consider this actor bashing, but it is anything but that. I was simply working on an article and while doing so found an image where the photographer made Beemer come across, different. I was wondering if it was just me and that is why I asked the question.

If I were interviewing him, I don't see how this topic would get in the way of asking him questions about his life, his roles on TV or what he sees in his future. I was not saying his head was too big or too small, or that he is an ugly person because of this or that. I was asking what was wrong with a picture, which is always manipulated by Photoshop afterward, that he just happened to be the center of focus.

I do apologize if this came across to anyone else as a bash on Beemer, it sure wasn't my intention.

    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
    • Well, depending on rewrites...Jennifer Richards potentially slept with Brandon and Alan. It does feel like we're forgetting someone, but then again, maybe I'm confusing that with brothers, which would include a lot more.
    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
    • @Efulton thank you. I don't know how I missed it or didn't recall it.  I'll blame amnesia . Anyway @Errol Could the newer thread be merged to the existing? Thanks in advance.
    • I just finished watching and I have to admit, not once did I find myself wondering who wasn't there. Quick question for anyone who followed this better than I did: was it only Andrew who rescued Cat and John from Clyde, or was Shane involved too? The reactions during their scenes today felt a little off to me. I know it was meant to be vague, but I didn't find it strange that they already knew each other.
    • Yeah, financially, Luna is in better shape than Deacon and Sheila.   -- Scott Clifton must have decided to chew the scenery in every scene of this "Liam is Dying" storyline. Yikes.
    • If J.R. wasn't busy with Ewing Oil, he'd be a heckuva soap recapper. He was SO gleeful at recapping Jenna-Bobby-Pam when the trio and Mark encountered each other at the Oil Baron's Ball. That being said, Lucy, presumably Sue Ellen and maybe Ray should all know this story, or at least part of it. Lucy was definitely at Southfork during Jenna and Bobby's relationship, and I believe Sue Ellen was about to marry J.R. around the time Jenna jilted Bobby. (Ray might not have given a damn.)

Programs, yet untitled, "will deal with problems teen-agers face in their relationships with peers and parents," with script topics reviewed in advance by teachers, psychologists and others. First episode is to air on Meredith's five TV's in September and ground broadcaster also anticipates syndication. If successful, idea is to go to full-fledged series.
