Alvin, Carley Stenson has a video on that channel as well.

I would never have suspected in a million years that he could sing. This shows me that Lee is really just all wrong for him. That video showed he could make me care, much more than his horrible angry emoticon faces he makes on the show.

Other than DTC's obvious hard-on for Matt Di Angelo, I really can't justify why Dean's rapist ass is still on this show. Not only do they appear to be whitewashing his crime, but Di Angelo is also one of the very worst actors in all of soaps.

Pretty to look at yes, but you get over that, just totally unwatchable.

I hope Tiana has been taking acting lessons as well if she ever comes back, she was just as green as Matt was. They never did anything substantial with her though, this is one of the only moments that automatically comes to mind when I think of her:

God, 2006-2007 had some awful ass moments.

I think DTC, like most of the past producers, has very little interest in the Foxes though. He wouldn't possibly invest in anyone without the last name Carter.

It's tough, because I think Matt di Angelo gets too much stick at times, but I just can't really watch any of his stories now. It's the rape, yes, but more than anything it's the odious "mother's love" trope with Shirley where we're supposed to cry for her because her sons are at war and she just wants everyone to be happy (on her terms), and isn't this sad.

I dread Shabnam being her next target.

I thought Tiana had some potential, especially after Lucas came around. The drug story was terrible, but she wasn't bad at the end. She also had a lot more chemistry with Scott Maslen than Sam Womack ever did, but we know that wasn't happening.

I like Kim and I think Tameka's done a great job over the years, especially since her return, but you see the show working hard (for now anyway) to increase her role, and Denise is still just there, not even able to get a job, much less anything else. And it's such a waste. I couldn't help comparing her, just sitting there, with Ellen Thomas hamming it up on Friday, and it just made me wonder why DTC can't use an actress who was already there and who has done so much with scraps.

I really do find the wasteful neglect of Diane Parish's enormous talent and appeal to be utterly baffling. Empire just started airing in the UK, I think. She must watch that, see Taraji P. Henson tear that show apart, stare down at her dinner and weep.

I thought Tiana had potential too and she did have stellar chemistry with Scott Maslen. IMO, she was his BEST pairing.

And you putting into perspective of what Diane's role is on EE is the primary reason I don't watch anymore. I just can't watch this woman be tossed aside like trash, and I felt that happened once DTC got his precious Jane back. I know many people didn't care for Ian/Denise, but I did. I thought she had great potential to become the next Beale matriarch. She has more of backbone to put Ian and his kids in place than Jane does.

Diane [and Nitrin too] get no love.

She should weep. She been there for almost ten years and she still is treated like sh-t.

I didn't buy Denise and Ian as a couple for purely shallow reasons-she deserves someone attractive looking and Ian has rever been remotely physically attractive even when he looked his best (which for me was around 2005, believe it or not).

    • Very. They're building up his story again and picking the perfect time to do so. As the SilkPress storyline climaxes and go off in several great directions, they are building up that story to take a turn.

    • @Soapsuds Thanks for posting Night by night Mon 8pm The Rookies edged Gunsmoke but attracted younger(more desirable) viewers.NBC failed with Born Free/Smothers Brothers (how many different series did those 2 get??) 9-11pm  Maude/Rhoda/Medical Center dominated on CBS,but Football and Movies were competitive on an occasional basis. ABC tried  SWAT/Caribe later in the season and the former worked for them. Tues 8-11 pm CBS all the way Good Times, MASH, Hawaii Five O,Barnaby Jones. NBC had the fading Adam 12,Movie and Police Story mmm...don't see that listed? ABC Happy Days, which ABC decided to keep despite lackluster ratings, the Movie of the Week and Marcus Welby-once pulling big numbers but no longer. 8pm NBC had a new hit with Little House, easily beating Sons and Daughters, which was axed and replaced with Tony Orlando, which did much better. ABC had That's My Mama and the Wed movie. 9pm Cannon was the lead here as Lucas Tanner failed to capitalize on the LHOTP leadin. ABC continued the movie. 10pm Manhunter started strong for CBS but petered out and was cancelled. Petrocelli manged to beat Get Christie Love, which was replaced by Baretta-no ratings winner but ABC decided to renew. Thurs Another CBS night with The Waltons and a movie. ABC counterprogrammed with Odd Couple/Paper Moon then Barney Miller/Karen NBC did even worse with Sierra and replaced it with Mac Davis which improved ratings quite a bit. However, it was moved to 9pm for Sunshine/Bob Crane 9pm Some good numbers for ABC with Streets of San Francisco fending off Ironside,Archer and Mac Davis. 10pm Harry O had a slim victory over Movin On Fri 8-11 NBCs best night Sanford/Chico/Rockford/Police Woman. 8pm CBS had high hopes for Planet of the Apes but it bombed. Replacement Khan did even worse. Paul Sand and We'll Get By were tossed in at the end of the season. With poor lead ins the Friday movie didn't deliver. ABC's odd line up saw Kodiak flop, Six Million dollar Man struggle and Texas Wheelers  quickly cancelled. Kung Fu was brought in @8 and Six Million moved to 9. Then Kolchak took over at 8 and Hot*l Baltimore/Odd Couple 9-10. Despite controversy Hot*l flopped. 10pm ABC tried Kolchak then Baretta and finally Get Christie Love Sat CBS lead  with #1 AITF then Paul Sand/MTM/Bob Newhart/Carol Burnett. Paul Sand lost too much of the lead in so CBS spun off The Jeffersons and it was a smash. NBC did OK with Emergency (which beat Paul Sand on occasion, thus hastening that show's demise) and a movie. ABC was a disaster with New Land/Kung Fu and Nakia all failing. They introduced a movie @9 and moved Kung Fu to 8. Sun  NBC  with Disney and Mystery Movie (Columbo McCloud, MacMillan and Wife/Amy Prentiss)did well. ABC flopped with Sonny Bono and recovered by moving Six Million Dollar Man from Fri as a lead in to the movie. CBS hoped Apples Way would be another Waltons but no, so Cher did what Sonny couldn't. Kojak and Mannix successfully finished out the night. Two other shows on the ratings list were Adams of Eagle Lake starring Andy Griffith. Only 2 episodes aired and did well, so I'm not sure what happened there. As for The Law it was a series follow up to a 2 and a half hour NBC special movie .

    • Trust is very easily lost and very hard to re-build.
    • Oh, I know it was. I was just talking about how it's not giving me parallels to Caroline dying. It's really as far from it as possible.  But about the foreshadowing - Hahahhahah. Yes. And you missed one - Liam googling - "what is cancer"...
    • GH 2-17-21 Denise Alexander's last appearance https://www.instagram.com/p/DJdjXgwJ1Ez/
    • @Maxim This Liam dying out of the blue was crafted in a hurry for three reasons: 1. To facilitate JMW's leave 2. To prop Steffy - 'Oh, Steffy has so much grace and moral superiority that she ignored everything that swine HoLo did to tell her for the sake of their daughters. Queen Stephanie would be so proud of her!' 3. Distracting Steffy enough to give Lunacy an easy way to slither into Finn's life. Once Luna discovers that Lame is dying, she'll play that card: 'Dad, life is too short and precious!' If this was an intentional story, we would've had the typical B&B foreshadowing - Liam faceplanting into a bowl of pasta, Lame missing meetings, being forgetful. Instead, Lame does an impulsive quick quit and $B doesn't even care enough to make a single attempt to get him back? Please.
