Today episode:

I didn't see Kat punching the sh!t out of Alfie coming at the end when he told her he bought her the Vic. Kat and Alfie have brought some fun back to the show with them.

Stacey seems to have lightened up with them back too, and she was very calmer than usual in her scenes with Max towards the end of the episode. Shame Stacey didn't get to introduce Kat to Max though.

You just know Kat was never going to take any of Bianca's sh!t, not that Kat's customer service skills were any better, she served drinks the same way at the Vic during her first stint.

I enjoyed the scenes between Alfie and Dot, and with Dot filling him in on all that's happened since he and Kat left. The Phil/Alfie scene in the beginning was also a nice touch, since the Mitchell's did like Alfie a lot.

Nice that they remembered that Alfie got on well with Ian and Jane. I hope that Alfie and Ian share a scene soon. Strange that they've put Jane's revenge plot on Ian on the backburner and today's scene between Jane and Alfie is all we get in regards to Jane.

Good that they remembered that there was always an underlying tension in Kat's relationship with Charlie. Too bad that scene with Charlie and Kat in the Slater livingroom didn't go on a bit longer longer. It's the soft/vulnerable moments that makes Kat so great too.

Anyone going to watch the Kat and Alfie Revealed Special that aired on BBC3 tonight? I'm off to try to find the torrent or see if it's on YouTube!

Bianca totally won that little row with Kat.

Glenda is such a pimp. Gotta show respect to her landing such a fine piece of ass as Leon. I would hit that harder that Hurricane Katrina. I wish he could stick around just for the eye candy factor. Yummy.

I'm surprised Dot just didn't invite Heather to live with her.

This episode was pretty damn hilarious all the way through. I was rarely not laughing or smiling from ear to ear.

How nice that Jo Joyner managed to get in yet another inappropriate smirk...

I just don't really get this character.

Tanya was a b!tch and an idiot. Then she was OK for... maybe 2 seconds and then they badly wrote her.

Leon would have to wear a bag over his head...

I don't understand that at all. He is not a butterface by any means. Very sexy, cute. Hopefully he'll turn up on some show like Skins or something ...

The first time we learned that Kat was Zoe's mother, 8 months or so before the big "You ain't my Muvther!" ..... "YES I AM!!!" and Harry reveal at Lynne's hen night.

The day of Zoe's 17th birthday party, Kat feels like trash, and she and Charlie come to blows and open up about it about 7:57 in:
