Great news, for some reason i figured he would return at some point..The John/Stefano brotherly feud is just too big a story to pass up..This should make many fans happy and its nice getting some exciting Days news for a change..

Joe Mascolo is returning in August. SOD confirms this, so please do not delete this post.

Thank you for including that. ;)

This is great news! But I highly doubt this was planned since they publically fired him and those quotes from Joe didn't scream "planned."

I wish Joe would have told them to shove it, he was treated pretty shitty IMO

No kidding.

I can hear Ken's phone call now. "THere was a miscommunication--" ROFLMAO!!!

Well, consider this Step #1 of 8,723 in the "NEW PLAN TO SAVE DAYS"

*sigh

Yay! I love him and especially his voice. No one is more entertaining to listen to in all of soapdom. I love how he can make the words "Marlena" and "Brady" fascinating.

Toups, I believe either that quote proves that Corday/Scott asked Mascolo back with a promise of a solid story line or this whole "firing" could have been staged to create buzz for the show.

If I remember correctly, Joe made it seem like he wouldn't be returning anytime soon.
