June 17, 200817 yr Member The horrid romance Cane has with Lily has got me wondering if I'll ever be able to be interested in anything related to either of those characters, with or without Chloe. I hear ya, but I also remember perking up when Cane shouted at Kay and Jill ("What about me? WHAT about me?!"). Cane needs to be in the 20 to 30-something set running Jabot and NE. I'd even follow Nelson Branco's suggestion and pair Cane with an older woman. I'll try not to mention Davetta too much, but it does make me wonder how she would have played the Cane/Chloe stuff. June 17, 200817 yr Member Please Lord NO. I'm holding out hope for Chloe and Cane. I hate Devon though and I have visions of Chloe making him suffer with her wonderful diva like ways.
June 17, 200817 yr Author Member OMG. I just read two spoilers and I simply don't believe it (or maybe I do). Whoever doesn't want to be spoiled, please don't read the following... Gloria gets her job at Jabot back. What the heck? I rooted for that woman even though she deserved to go to prison. But no way in hell does one person deserve to have someone forgive them so many times. She's caused series material damage on any of her jobs. I like the fact that this will cause another fight between Katherine and Jill, but why must it be Gloria? I pray to God that Sheffer backburns her. A lot. Meanwhile, rumour (not confirmed) is that Sabrina isn't a con artist, but she will exit this summer. First of all I'm disappointed. I would have loved to see Victor's face when he'd be tricker. However, it seems that Sabrina will die, leaving Victor heartbroken. What the heck was the point of this character then? Probably to reunite the Newman family or something.
June 17, 200817 yr Member ^Where did you read the first one from? I have yet to see it. I've heard about the second one, though not the con artist part.

Found it on another board, but it's the only board talking about it so it might not be true. I can't believe they want to make us think Sabrina's and Victor's love story was so true and romantically tragic . Blah.

June 17, 200817 yr Member Oh Lord Jesus. Must Victor be the victim? Everyone's a damn victim on this show now. Damn. I wanted some revenge. Some fire. Some anger. Instead, sadness? Really? didn't we get that with Hope's passing? And Lily losing the baby? Amongst others from '07. <sigh>

How come these writers don't understand that the viewers WANT their couples fighting, crying, plotting, doing mysterious acts and more? Why must every person in Genoa City be so damn happy? It's like most of them are taking some kind of a "stay together forever" drug. Edited June 17, 200817 yr by dmarex

It's like most of them are taking some kind of a "stay together forever" drug. And that is exactly why Y&R is a sleeping pill right now. There's no real moving or gripping drama going on. Hogan once said that a happy couple is a boring couple in an interview, so maybe he can work on breaking up some of these horrid pairings. I wonder if we'll notice a change in the show once he's credited. The show is in a serious holding pattern. Edited June 17, 200817 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
June 17, 200817 yr Member I am SO over Victoria. She's a grown ass woman. Going around moping because her parents aren't together....oy.
June 17, 200817 yr Member After reading those spoilers, I seriously don't see Victoria Rowell coming back. With the exception of Jill, Kay, and Nikki, there are absolutely no fiery women on the show left. And if the writers are going in that direction, I doubt they'd write anything to suit Dru's spice. And if those wankers mute Dru as they've done 95% of the rest of these women, I'd actually want Phyllis to push her off the cliff this time. I was about to say, can you all imagine a muted Dru? But after they diluted Victoria, Collen, and Lily, that wouldn't be so hard to believe.
