Pretty much every writer/producer associated with this era of GH is tainted in my eyes. Why even take the chance that you are bringing on someone responsible for that hot mess on board Y&R? This show has enough troubles right now, let's not import them. Personally, I wish they had kept LML until they hired someone better.

My point was, Y&R needs someone to come in and change things immediately, instead of waiting for them to dissolve. JFP is one of the few people who does that with her shows. I don't mean her per se, I mean the show needs someone like that. The way Y&R is run now is BEYOND PATHETIC, they desperately need someone to whip that show into shape. Josh Griffith is such an amateur, he should've never been made EP.

Exactly, it isn't that I love JFP, far from it the woman's a total bitch, it's that I respect her ability to swoop in and enact major changes rapidly. That's what Y&R needs, someone with a strong vision and the balls to match.

There's nothing wrong with any of the younger actors on the show - the writing for their characters is the problem.

They need to do away with boring couples like Victor/Sabrina and David/Nikki, and useless characters like Adrian, Sabrina, David and Chloe. They also need to get Victoria Rowell back.

Y&R is really the only soap(besides B& I even bother to follow these days, and while I think its better than Latham's darkest moments that's really not enough. In my opinion the storylines are all due for a major shake-up, but instead they're stuck in a same old, same old boring rut. Most obviously this occurs with the NEVER ENDING Gloria tainted the facial cream crapola. Remeber when Michael, Lauren, Kevin, and Gloria were interesting characters?

Get rid of David, Sabrina, and Jeffery in one big swoop. Have the Baldwins/Fisher clan take a vacation until something better can be done with them. Bring back Ashley, Dru, Christine, and Diane to shake things up.

good actors can pass it along.

less than good actors cant do anything except expetional writing, and even then its tainted because it could be done so much better.

I know everyone on this board has it in for (EMMY NOMINEES) CK and TS (why, god only knows), but EH better than MG and AF? That's just down right scary. CK, TS, MG, AF, GR and Bryton could all act circles around EH (not that I think EH is particularly bad. She is passable).

Personally I think the only particularly BAD younger actor Y&R has ever had was Scott Seymour (Billy Abbott #3). Davetta Sherwood was no Meryl Streep either. She was in the same category as EH - passable.

Both were good, I guess. Alex was a very dramatic actress; Susan was more comedic.

I love Liz Hendrickson, I think she's a find for Y&R and I think they need to develop Chole more. I'd love to see her outside of Lily and Cane's orbit.

Put her with the older people at Jabot and have her work closely with Jill, Nikki, Kay, Brad, Victoria, Heather, etc..

They haven't even explored her backstory yet, and the character is now a contract role...

Chloe will fit right in with Nikki, Jill, Brad, Victoria, & Heather.

I also think Chloe and JT would be intersting and add a layer to the jt/victoria thing as well as cause more conflict at jabot (nikkiw antinger gone for victoria, jill keeping her on because shes good at her job and to piss nikki off)

I can also see an unlikely friendship between Chole and Heather. They're so opposite, putting them together and developing a friendship would be a stroke of genius. Kind of like how different Nina and Christine were, but the friendship worked. Of course Heather and Chole aren't being written as well, but I think with better writing, I could go for them as close friends. Both Heather and Chole need a close girlfriend too.

I agree. pairing them up and making them friends would be great. They could even move in together type thing. Then we could see Heather open up to Chloe about various things (her thing with Adam) and Chloe could slowly open up to heather as we learn her backstory.

No, it isnt some amazing storyline - but it works because it would drive the char's. Opne them up, show other sides of them. It wouldnt need to be an everyday thing - but we all remember those scenes of Kircket & Nina, hell even brittany & JT, just opening up to eachother and talking about whatw as going on.

Okay, I just watched that from beginning to end, and IMO, she is absolutely NOT better than CK or TS. Either of those actresses could have pulled off a scene like that flawlessly.
