It was both melodramatic and totally real at the same time. It was quite an astute acting choice on Fath's part. And Lord knows I was never a fan of hers on Days.

Brody looked like he was trying out for An Officer and a Gentleman. Not that I'm complaining. And JarJar & David are SO a supercouple waiting to happen.

The whole show rocked. Rex and Adriana's wedding dance was so bittersweet, as was Gigi's slow, painful walk upstairs. Trapped by her secrets.

OK, the show has been so good these past few weeks that I'm starting to get worried about any backlash. :lol:

I am so glad people agree that David and Jared are *hot* together. They're hotter than a certain Oakdale male/male couple, which is sad because David and Jared are as far away from in love as you can possibly get. I loved Jared and Nigel being all awkward in their quest to hide David from Nora and Clint. I got a major "Three's Company" vibe from that whole thing lol.

Todd...ugh. I hated when he came into Starr's room all smiles and cheese, calling himself "Dr. Manning." It's like...ugh...I don't know. He's the center of his world. When he's upset, he expects everyone to bow down to him. When he gets over things, he just expects everyone else to get over it too. He doesn't realize that just because he's "forgiven" Starr for running away, she and Blair won't just forgive him for throwing her down the stairs, and all the other crap he's pulled. He needs an ass whooping.

Some thoughts:

* Jared and Nigel: hilarious

* I loved what they did with the priest's voiceover while Gigi was in the house with Brody and Shane. This Rex-Gigi-Brody-Adrianna-Shane thing is a great storyline.

* Lindsay was stunning.

* Please send Starr to Eterna, Mendorra or the Old West. Blair was a caring mother and they shared some touching scenes... actually Blair shared them with herself. And with John of course. Sorry, but I really hate this teen couple. I was furious at Cole for pushing Todd like that. With two cops holding him it was a perfect chance for Cole to go all Stanley Covalsky on Todd. This boy got his daughter pregnant and then ran away with her while it was obvious that there was no way to support either Starr or their baby. BTW Todd is very HOT and I still don't get why Blair had him arrested. It was a very dramatic scene but it made no sence to me.

* Overall a great episode.

Highlights:

the wedding, Brody's return, Nired, John and Blair AS FRIENDS

Lowlights:

Antonio and Talia (a little boring), Starr and Cole (Eterna! Now!!!)

Starr isn't dumb...well she is, but she isn't dumb enough not to know what can happen when two people have unprotected sex. She and Cole should equally share the blame for A, getting pregnant in the first place, and B, deciding to run away from Llanview. Nobody forced either one of them to do anything. As a matter of fact, when push came to shove and they knew Todd was in Virginia Beach, Cole wanted Starr to just go to him, but no, Starr couldn't do that because she LOVES! COLE! LOVES! COLE! CAN'T! LIVE! WITHOUT! COLE!!!!!!!! AAH!!!!! I agree with you for the most part, but I just don't see why people view Cole as the bad guy here. Neither Cole nor Starr are the bad guy, they're just the stupid, dumbass, idiotic, immature, childish guys. I don't think Todd's a bad guy either, mind you, to me, he's the misguided, completely, totally misguided, 100% out of touch, thinking-of-nobody-but-himself guy.

You are right, both Cole and Starr are responsible for this mess. I don't see him or Starr as the bad guy, it's their stupidity that bothers me... lol Plus the fact that Cole pushing Todd and going in Starr's room like a hero made me mad.

Starr is too boring for my taste. She is a Cramer and she is Todd Manning's daughter, not Danny and Cricket's from Y&R.

And Cole, take your shoes from Starr's hospital bed!

I've been watching OLTL since 1985, and this last week has been among the very best... maybe the very best, actually, because it seems like every storyline is well written, well directed, well filmed, well acted, and well edited. I felt sad for both Adriana ang Gigi, laughed at Nigel slapping Jared (and Natalie finding both Jared and Nigel crawling over a barely-dressed--and tied up!--David), felt Starr's fear of her father and her shame at having disappointed her mom (she thought), felt Starr & Cole's love for each other, hated Dorian for her meanness (and loved her for it at the same time), and more and more things that I can't even remember now. Kudos to the entire cast & crew for a week I'll never forget. I"m looking forward to many more of them

Just caught up on four days of shows, and I am so loving this show right now. With the one exception of Starr/Cole, I am truly enjoying all the storylines, and I FLOVE all the cliffhangers. Great soap writing.

David Vickers is just a breath of fresh air, and such a joy to watch.

This show I do believe is back on track. It has drama, romance, intrigue, heartache and humor. So much fun to watch.

It was yet another awesome episode, but I will say that I wanted more Jared/David/Natalie and less Antonio/Ramsey. It's not that I don't like those characters (well, I do hate Ramsey), it's that I do *not* like storylines dealing with lost jewels or treasure, etc. Yeah, that stuff has its place I guess, but I've never been a fan of it.

Finally Bo is ready to move on with Lindsay. Ive waited about 6-7 years for this. Love them together

Sarah made a blunder today. When comparing Cris punching John and Adriana doing the same to Gigi, she said it must run in the genes, but Cris and Adriana arent related.

You didn't like Bo with Gabrielle? I don't know if I'm in the minority of not, but I loved those two together. I hated when they killed Gabrielle off, Fiona Hutchinson is such a great actress (I loved her on GL as well).

Bo and Lindsay is very interesting though, especially the connection with Norah both characters share...

    • That 10% lycra makes them very stretchy.  Plus, he's getting addicted to pain meds. OMG Imagine if EJ gets addicted to opioids manufactured by Titan, and uses Belle to form a class action suit (i.e. The Sacklers) and that's how they get back Dimera Industries ?!?

    • Can someone please slap Lulu? More fast forwarding in today's episode. Are we ever going to get resolutions to the two murders and the two attempted murder cases? What sloppy writing. Today's cliffhanger ending sucked!!
    • EJ walks around in pain every day. How does he get those tight jeans on?
    • She's at least ten years older than lil'Rachel, yet it feels unnatural for both of them to be so involved in other people's loves lives.

    • Lol.  Me neither.  CM is in really good shape so I shouldn't make fun especially with his health issues, but like the tips were the most basic thing ever.
    • I also think Joey will end up Ashley's father. Joey made a comment that Nicole's marriage falling apart was similar to him but without the illegitimate child. Or something like that. But I'm wondering if he used the word "illegitimate" to differentiate intentionally or maybe Jan had the baby without telling him just like Leslie claims with Ted and that was why she was acting weird with Leslie. Jan could have still been "honest with Ashley" by telling her what kind of person her father is without telling her specifically who he is.  This could be another "revelation" down the line MVJ set up to keep story momentum going. We are led to believe Ashley is such a "good girl" and it turns out she's Joey's daughter. Maybe she will turn and not be so "goody-goody". Etc...another story point to go down.  When Leslie said she still had more surprises and stormed off, my first thought was Eva isn't really hers. This would explain why Leslie is abandoning "her daughter" harshly with all the comments of how can she do that to her own daughter. Eva isn't her daughter she's Nicole's, so she couldn't care less about Eva. They keep going on about the DNA test...for her father...no one has ever checked to see if Leslie's DNA matches. They just assume. Why? Because Leslie said so? Maybe this ties into the theories people have that Leslie stole Eva from the hospital (since she's already proven she can sneak into hospitals as a nurse) and raised Nicole's daughter, keeping her away from the "happy couple" until she used her to destroy their happiness when she pleased. She could have done it because she wanted her own baby with Ted and it was the closest she thought she could get to having his child. Eva and Kat being twins and having that "psychic" connection Martin mentioned about Kat calling out Eva from the get-go. Just rambling...but I love this show much and how it has me interested in finding out.  Does anyone care who Alexandre Dumas is at this point? Does anyone care if Liam lives or dies? Just saying... lol
