AMC/OLTL/GH: ROBIN CHRISTOPHER, true queen of ABC Daytime!

Undoubtedly the most beautiful, striking and glorious face in daytime

One of our finest actresses

Brought to life one of the most compelling, multi faceted characters in the history of american soap in my opinion

She is the TRUE queen of ABC with the biggest claim to the throne - her character has had a primary contract role in all three major soaps, which is a record that even Dano hasn't beaten (Dano's character being merely a guest star on the other shows outside of OLTL).

She may have been robbed of her rightful Emmy year after year, but her screen partner is TONY GEARY, what more could you ask for?

She is part of the 'cool set' on GH - Christopher, Geary, Elliot, King, these guys are the true scene stealers and give us a plesant antidote to the Sonny hour of poison.

God, Skye is amazing. And Robin, i will never be able to thank her enough for being so effortlessly brilliant. Lets hope she goes back to Skye's original AMC home one day to take charge of the Chandlers, David Canary could sure use her right now as his screen partner but not yet... Skylo is far too irresistable!

Good news for us fans is that Robin has never been overexposed, she is a cult favorite even if she has never been mainstream fodder... i truly believe the night its announced "And the winner is... ROBIN CHRISTOPHER!" the place is going to explode.

She's a true star.

Robin is so cool, its in the way she presents herself It make me say wow thats Robin. She just has a way of standing out on every soap she has been on. Her scenes on GH stand out the most to me. Skye has stood up to Not only Tracy Q but also Erica Kane and Victoria Lord and im glad TPTB havent made Skye Sonnnys lap dog because IMHO she is too good for him. :)B)

Awwww. Robin Christopher is definitely one of the most underrated in this industry. I've only seen her on GH, but I would love for her to return to AMC and shake up the Chandler household.

I agree with what you said MarlandRulez about what I consider the Fab Four in Tracey, Luke, Skye, Lorenzo. I think it was an accident because these four work so brilliantly together that the GH writers couldn't have possibly created this by plan.

    • Erwin Nicholson's last episode as SFT ep was 11/21. Whitesell started 11/22/85. Erwin was on board from March 8, 1985 so less than 9 months. Whitesell lasts six months (approximately) before P&G moved him to AW for two years where he primarily worked with DePriest. Whitesell was replaced on Search by no daytime experience David Lawrence who closed out the show's last six months.
    • CBS is commemorating Don Diamont's 40th anniversary of his start on CBS soaps.  (They're not counting his 1984 on DAYS). Y&R posted on IG, to appear on B&B and cbstv IG accounts as well. (IG post link)  It's a batch of photos. Y&R posted same photos on facebook  (fb post link) Y&R did a youtube with individual messages from their cast: Heartfelt and fun from Peter Bergman, Beth Maitland, Eileen Davidson, Tracey Bregman, Joshua Morrow, and Eric Braeden. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdFxgA7gPcY Stephanie Sloane interviewed Diamont for tvinsider/tvguide. This interview includes his time at DAYS. Short version of interview was in TVGuide print magazine earlier in May. • I assume in name only?  One Stormy Night wasn't exactly steamy.  If it's a literal throwback then Stephanie's writing about sexy times her own Uncle was having lol. Since I am going to surmise it's just a throwback to the name, Night Sins and Winter Heat both sound sexier.  Just saying.  I swear Jamey (and Ron) just google things and land on the first thing they like and decide it's a good throwback to history without watching it.
    • I usually don't want Tide placement in the middle of an intense sad scene, but this is an interesting point

    • BTG joke immediately followed by an AMC joke (same context)
    • Thanks!   Was anyone watching during this time? Wondering how Peggy’s rape played out onscreen. It just seems cruel to subject the Brooks family to this trauma a 2nd time.   Feels like the writers have already given up on the character of Jennifer, even though she sticks around another year-plus. She should be a passionate and fierce protective mother, but instead she seems just reactionary (and not even mentioned in this recap) This was also the case in ‘73 when Chris was raped. The writers are definitely more invested Stuart as the Brooks parent.
    • BTG got another SNL reference at 00:50  CONTEXT (so it isn't misconstrued) in this joke swap segment, Michael Che frequently makes his white cohost Colin Jost read racist jokes written by Che.
