It's weird, but I like nuChris and nuAli more than I like originalAaron. Of all the people they could have brought back, Aaron seems pointless with Agim playing him.

I think this plot point suffers from....well, being such a plot point. Holden needs a reason to be mad at Lily, so there's a fairly innocuous "lie" to "manipulate" him into bed. No personal responsibility from him, regarding his actions, just blaming Carly and Lily and whining about "fate" vs. "manipulation".

At least when they played out this EXACT story with Carjack, (in Montana) you understood why Jack felt manipulated.

Two words...TOTAL and SUCKAGE describe today's show.

Save yourself forty minutes....I'll recap. Katie throws a temper tantrum when Brad fails to inform her Janet returns to town. Pisses and moans that Janet is not a good role model, implying that Libby is way better off with her dad (and by extension, Her Blonde Highness) now. Brad curdles her milk by implying that a daughter needs her mother. He then returns to his normal position---kissing Katie's ass. Poor Brad--dealing with two teen twits.

Paul/Meg/Mike/Sophie/Babs.....Babs tells Sophester Paul loves Meg. Sophester protests. Stupid Plot Device has Meg calling Paul when some random dayplayer's kitchen gets flooded due to construction. Paul charms the pants off 60-ish neighbor lady and sends her home with one of Emma's rhubarb pies. Mike interrupts, assuming Paul has violated The Restraining Order. Meg stands up to Mike, but gives Paul the cold shoulder. Mike acts like a possessive husband asking questions like "what is HE doing here?" and "what's going on?" Paul, stoically crushed, ends up giving Sophester another glimmer of hope that his relationship with Meg is done.

Tomorrow's previews....Ali passes her exam, Lily wants her marriage back, Carly wants things to "get back to normal"with Holden, and Sage, Nat and Faith seem to quote from "The Wizard of Oz" as Holden and Carly look confused.

Today was horrible! Talk about bad writing. The whole "my kitchen is flooded" fiasco was ridiculous. And as if you would say to Paul, "your famous, I see you arrested every week in the paper?" Please....talk about pathetic. I really hate that whole storyline. And I see by the previews Holden doesn' t stay angry at Carly for long.

Well...the part that didn't suck was watching Katie and lmao as she realized Brad was 1) an independent human being and 2) inclined to give Janet a chance. Unlike Katie, who knows a bitch in sheeps' clothing when she sees one. :D

Today was like Vet-a-palooza! Susan, Margo, Tom, Lisa, Lucinda....all in one eppy!

The Carly/Kids/Holden stuff...all cute. Unfortunately, a little cute goes a long way. It doesn't make Holden less boring or sanctimonious. I like Beck as Lily too.

Loved Em's new little intern calling her a bitch. :D Sounds mean, but it's the truth.

I don't really get the deal with Ali. If some jealous student wasn't saying she got special treatment because of Chris, they'd just point to her mother the doctor and say the same thing.

I am enjoying her as well. I am impressed.

LOL...Yup...we got some Vets didnt we?? :D

I also loved Em being called a bitch...LOL.

Chris is so yummy. :)

The whole Holden reasoning for not wanting Lily is absurd! It makes zero sense.

If he had stopped at "I gave you time, when you needed time..." I would have totally understood. The BS where "last night wasn't real..." is total bullshit. From the way he waxed poetic the morning after...it sure WAS real. He didn't bother to talk before the last reconciliation after Dusty's death. He was filing for divorce, and the only thing that stopped him was deciding to cover for Lily.

Apparently, the only thing that's really changed is Holden's suddenly looking at Carly. Boy, Carly must just ooze sex appeal, 'cause all it takes for any joker to think he's got a shot is one too many moments of looking into those baby blues.

Nice seeing so many vets today :) As for NuLily I am really starting to feel her also, she is not bad at all, still not as good as MB, but she has staying power, and can hold her own IMO.

Previews look somewhat interesting, plus some of the spoilers sound good.

I haven't been this pleasantly surprised since Mary Beth Evans was cast as Sierra.

LOL....WG, you're just hoping

Guess Em's resolve doesn't last long. And I don't even want to guess what they were doing...it almost looked like Em's head was in Casey's lap.

LOL!

Yup, sure looks like it does not take Emily to long to go after what she really wants, LOL. I still say this story might work if it were not so darn rushed, just hope they keep on having the Hughes and Stewart family's involved in the storyline.

I am finally, FINALLY caught up on ATWT. Hurray!

I am enjoying the Brad/Katie/Janet story, mainly because Julie Pinson is a hoot in the role, and I am loving watching Brad try to figure out how to be a dad and a husband. Liberty appears to be a chip off the old block of both of them, and I'm curious as to where they're going to take this. I hope they keep Brad and Katie together, because it'll make for a more interesting story.

Janet reminds me a lot of a less-evil Gwen's mom (whatever her name was).

Chris and Ali remain boring, and Aaron is being wasted. Although it amuses me that Chris has gone from wearing the lab coat all the time (HE'S A DOCTOR, ALL OFFICIAL) to slinging a stethoscope over his manly shoulders while wearing a tight button-down and jeans.

Luke and Noah...zzzz. Are they still on the show? At least Luke's no longer acting like a horny rentboy all the time. That's progress, I guess.

I let go of Casey/Maddie very reluctantly, but it can't just be my bias that is completely annoyed that Casey is now suddenly over 21 and sleeping with his brother's mother. I like nuCasey, but no. This is not working for me.

They need more age-appropriate women for the legacy sons they have roaming around: Casey, Chris, Aaron -- and yet there's only Ali on the girls side. (Sophie is now in Paul's story, and she's a drip.)

I find myself surprisingly enjoying the Carly/Jack/Holden/Lily possibilities. Especially because the Snyder men are SO judgmental, and they are both going to fall SO hard.

    • I'm anticipating most of the cast at the Nice location for a few weeks a la the Tuscan villa for Victoria and Ashland's wedding. I don't know why they bother. I'd rather see the money going into more regular home/office sets. This party has been a bust. No secrets revealed, break ups  etc. Ugly decorations and I'm going to slam the costuming again. Just the guests heaping praise on  Nikki  like she's achieved some magnificent milestone rather than just getting a year older.

In the loving arms of his wife, Dr. Marlena Evans, John took his last breath at the end of the June 2 episode, after suffering devastating internal injuries during a lab explosion. The iconic character went out as he lived — a hero. Sensing the fans’ devastation on Monday, Marlena’s portrayer Deidre Hall posted this simple-but-powerful message to fans on Instagram: “I know. I know. Hardest day ever.”

    • Now coming into June...well...   I knew it was coming but I didn't like the start to the next round of Dani/Bill/Hayley. As the 3 A plots from the start of the show (The SilkPress storyline and Martin's Secret being the other two), it needed to be benched for a while to develop those characters and allow other characters and storylines to grow. 3 months in, Hayley is the weak link, Dani is still divisive, but not boring, and Bill has been making his mark with some plots faster than others. So last week seeing the story starting to loop back around to them with Hayley's potential pregnancy, I honestly had mixed feelings.   I get it. The SilkPress storyline is currently in aftermath/next turn mode, so it has to be moved into a C plot position. Moreso if we want to keep the very talented Miss Trish around. And I love how clever the writers are being with the storyline. They give us enough in the episodes and are still playing out beats to keep the appetite fed. I don't feel like anyone is being dumbed down to keep her around. And Trish is giving nuances in her alone scenes with NuTed. I shouldn't care for a clear psycho, but she be selling it. That said...I wish they had given us a little more of the Martin's Secret storyline in the last week of the month though I loved the game of cat and mouse Bill did on Martin and Smitty to keep the storyline alive and active after it had a nice build beginning of May and vanished for a week mid-May. And it appears like it's about to go back to the backburner as an A plot which of course leaves the A plot of Dani/Bill/Hayley.   I am probably in the minority as someone who is not anti-Dani here and even she annoyed the heck out of me last week. In character true, but I just felt like there was a way to get all of that across without it feeling like...as I've said before...one step forward, two steps back...and have it feel organic. I liked Hayley got a little bit of edge with her, but she still ain't no match for Dani. And it reminds to be seen if we should be going back to that well of a story yet.   Now about today's show...   And I thought Tracy was bad! lol. But YES. Sharon has been worth the wait. And so has Anita's story! Finally having TT in the limelight. This has been a nice slow burn for me and a nice B plot. And the actress is good. The wig is giving. And her holding what Anita's secret is over her head and threatening to tell Vernon....Ooooo...that is what I was waiting for.    And speaking of bad...I thought Eva vs Kat was a great rivalry. But I am loving the rivalry that is growing with 'Nancy Drew' and Silk Press Sheila! They both get good licks in and are so cunning with each other. And I definitely have liked that since the anniversary party, that it has been growing. Now that Kat has been proven right, she has not backed down. And neither has SilkPress. And we got a 'Ms. B@tch' moment, too? LOVE. Eva coming up with a trump card was delicious and so 90s Sami Brady. GOOD. And the coda with Jacob and the expert...YES. The Silk Press storyline has been the best paced on the show so I love that the aftermath of the anniversary party continues to be so...barring one flaw...well for me. Not enough Nicole's POV.   And I like the C plots on display. And by that, I mean Chelsea with Vernon. And it made me wonder what the writers have plan for her love life now that the throuple is over with. I was watching her and going awww.   And of course the mystery man around Martin. I am starting to wonder if he really even works at the country club given how he made a run for it. That would be a twist.    Speaking of Martin...good to see him in scenes with his father and mother.    I'm getting used to NuTed.    I felt the last episode of May was a bit of a letdown, but this was a very nice recovery.
    • Unless they cut him, I'd think he would stay. Surely, he didn't choose to return because he expected high quality. I figure he gets to work when he wants and spend a lot of time doing his own thing and being with his family.
    • The writing for Liz and Lucky is indeed terrible, but if JJ signed a one-year contract he may be gone in a couple of months anyway. Perhaps they’re just cutting their losses.
    • That would be his older sister Stacey. She was the center of a big story back in the day. Nola was out to snag medical student Kelly Nelson, who she thought would provide her with the life she craved. He was in love with a girl named Morgan. Nola plotted to get pregnant by him, but couldn't manage to get him in bed. So she seduced Floyd, who thought she was in love with him. When she knew she was pregnant, she got Kelly drunk and made sure he woke up next to her in bed. Kelly believed her when she told him he made her pregnant. They were about to elope to Las Vegas, but her mother ratted her out and Kelly abandoned her. She almost married Floyd, but jilted him at the altar. She went to work for Quint. When the baby came prematurely, Kelly saved both of them. She named the baby Kelly Louise to irk Morgan, who was now married to Kelly. When she fell in love with Quint, she had a change of heart over all the trouble she had caused, so she changed the baby's name to Anastasia Louise, shortened to Stacey. Quint was a devoted stepfather and Henry treated her like his own granddaughter.  After Quint and Nola leave SF, I believe Stacey is never seen again. Which is odd, you would think they would have brought her back with Nola and J, but they never did.
