She looks great.

I thought so, too. She is easily recognizable (she still looks like herself, I mean)

I noticed that she stepped in as Faith in 1979, the same year Karen Morris wed Curt Gowdy, Jr. Did Ms. Justice sub as Mrs. Morris-Gowdy was getting married/honeymooning? Does anyone know?

Had to be some other reason for a temp, Karen Morris got married in August of 1979 and Katherine Justice was on in February.

Oh...my goodness. I remember that slogan well - "fill it to the rim with brim". As for the awful hair and makeup - it was the 80s!!!! That's the only way to make sense of it. LOL

I don't know if Karen or if Megan McCracken (Nancy #2) is RH's queen of commercials. ..they both had nice careers in commercials.

Back then, Helen Gallagher (Maeve) said she would love to do commercials but they never hire her. Malcolm Groome (Pat #1) said he'd never do a commercial.

Have HG and MG done commercials since saying that? I'd guess no for MG, seeing as he's largely left the acting arena. You'd think Helen would be in demand for commercials during the RH era, seeing as she was playing such a strong maternal figure.

I would have thought so, too.

Any idea how a cover actor (or actors) were chosen back then? I've just always wondered how it was that Kate Mulgrew or Ilene Kristen were never on a cover.
