I ahte stax and FF by them. I act like they are not even there so...

But i loved the ava stuff and the stories and them talking and yes the sex. Tamara Braun can sell anything

And Cheslea & Daniel.. where to begin? I love this storyline. I love that she is allg rowen and mature and has this amazing life and is about to throw it alla way on lust. I love that hes trying not to be into her, yet is falling. I love that sami has pulled out her inner bitch than hioagn stripped away from her. I loved the nicole stuff. The gym was fun. Philip & Morgan sparkle. Bo, Hope, Patch & Kayla are intersting - and i HATE them so thats saying a lot. Jawn & Blondie are cute fun and like this brand new couple again. Philip vs Jawn is great. Linden Ashby is on this show... johnny motherfingcage! ... that gives it points all alone.

Why did we have to see Steph/Max having sex? GROSS!!! I'm sorry but them having sex/professing their love and "best week" don't go together. LOL

So why didn't Bo, Kayla, Steve want to involve Roman/Abe again? From today's episode, they got there with no problems at all. Whatever. I'm happy this chapter of the Ava storyline is over - YAY!!!!! It was so bad.

Can i just say that today was the perfect Friday episode..So much to talk about...First off i loved all the different interactions we got today especially involving Nicole..We got to see her interact with Victor, John, Marlena, and then Chloe..Such a delight...The only down part to the episode was Max and Stephanie attempted love making scenes, but i fast-forwarded through them..

The Ava scenes wrapped up very nicely..I'm happy that Bo, Hope, Steve and Kayla got out of the compound and it was nice to see Roman and Abe come to their rescue...Also i'm happy that Steve didn't actually have sex with Ava, that was a nice surprise...And finally we got an exciting cliffhanger with Stephanie being attacked at knife point. Finally something exciting happening to Stephanie..

Now onto John and Marlena..Can i just say i adore these two..Their fans have got to be loving these scenes...The writing is excellent for them right now..I'm so happy Marlena is back and willing to give nu-john a chance..John toying with Marlena about his "hot date" was cute and i enjoyed seeing a bit of Marlena's jealous side...Nicole and John's date was hilarious, and i loved when John turned the tables on her..It was made even better when Marlena told her off as well..Finally the last scene with John and Marlena was pure gold, and solidified a re-birth of this supercouple..

The next surprise of the episode was the final scene with Chloe and Nicole having a civil moment together and both being weirded out by it..Can't wait for Nicole to tell Chloe what really happened to Brady..I didn't like the explanation at first, but now i think its perfect..

I'm just glad we finally have a writing staff now, as it seems like things are finally starting to get exciting again.

    • Interesting promo, @DRW50. I'm fascinated by CBS This Morning having on ABC stars. I wonder if they had any interest in reaching out to the NBC soaps.

    • Just so you know I said it... @Antoyne ASHHHHHHHHLEYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!
    • Yes, the Liz and Lucky scenes were horrible. Kristina better be sent to prison.   I'm already getting tired of BLQ continuing to blame Lois for her mistakes. Yes, let's move this along.
    • Oh I agree that they erred in not showing her bonding more with her family and not having this examined more closely. I think if I cared about Lucky or Laura I'd be more agitated. I think the material they have given her (aside from chasing after Charlotte, which was hurt by not focusing more on Rocco's response and just by Charlotte never having a reason to exist) has been OK but certainly not what it could have been.
    • I have never been much of a Lulu fan either since the JMB days.  I do think Alexa Havins is really a great recast.  When Lulu returned it was at the expense of Sam (no loss to me) but not the best for audience favor, she was barely on screen for weeks after she woke up, then went to run off and put everyone in danger to find Charlotte at the expense of her other child, and finally moved on to this Brook/Dante baby investigation.  Lulu never had a chance to grieve the years she lost, re-bond with her family or her friends, re-integrate herself back into town, or be anything more than a chaos creator. Meanwhile, Brook Lynn is this poor, innocent victim that's being bullied by Lulu.  I don't think Lulu is right.  I would just like a little more subtlety in the writing.
    • Just beautifully done. I could name some minor quibbles, but I won't, because what DAYS gave us today was golden. That was soap opera at its finest, paying homage to history and legacy and actors and the audience. This is why we love soaps.
    • To clarify, we could argue about the necessity to have John Black speak while in hospital, but the body created an opportunity for people to touch him, and move around him.  Even though I never totally suspended my disbelief, I appreciated their creative choice to form a visual representation of loss.  Certainly there were other ways to tell this story, but it will stay with me because those production choices enabled these performances. However, with disdain, I note that Days has found an odd middle ground between a flashback and a montage.  I define a flashback as least a couple of rounds of dialogue, if not a whole scene.  And a montage would be a visual snippet without much dialogue.  But, these were often just a single line, or an entrance.  It felt like a bit of a tease, and made me wish that Peacock had curated a playlist of John Black's Greatest Hits, like they do for some Bravo shows or SNL characters.  OT - but they have yet to maximize that platform.
    • It's tough for me because I feel like this has always been Lulu. She used to be even worse, slut-shaming, verbally abusing other women, and always being written as being in the right. They should let Brook Lynn get dirtier, but I think the material of Lulu digging and being self-righteous, making everything worse even while not intending to do so, but also not being as in the wrong as Dante thinks she is, all makes sense for her. But I don't have as much experience with Lulu as a lot of fans as I just could never stomach her beyond the time she was a mute kid, so I don't have much right to speak.
