April 10, 200817 yr Member Thanks, Lskreet. That's a new HH low for GL. No change for any of ABCs shows? Ouch!
April 10, 200817 yr Member Ouch. Those ratings are horrid for everyone, but I am glad DOOL at least held from the prior week. This show IMO has improved and deserves a little uptick. ABC no words but I guess just be greatful they did not drop further from the prior week. I guess no one tuned into GH to see Michael get blown in the head. Edited April 10, 200817 yr by emilyq
April 10, 200817 yr Member At least AMC and OLTL held steady, but those Thurs and Fri numbers are atrocious. Doesn't bode well for next week's numbers. Geez, GH is thisclose to falling below a 2.0. Looks like Y&R is finally trending toward sub-4.0 numbers instead of it being a one- or two-week fluke. Some changes really need to be made there...a lot of material they're airing now is just not working and, I'll probably get slammed for this, but I find it more unlike classic Y&R than when LML was HW.

You won't get slammed. I was really into Y&R up through sweeps in Feb and it just seems like everything has stalled, Not sure why.
April 10, 200817 yr Member Darn. AMC should have went up for Angie/Jesse and the Erica story. AMC isn't at its best, but there has been an effort to make the show better. The whole Greenlee/Aidan/Zach/Kendall/Ryan mess is really pulling the show down.

Sabrina/Victor, Cane/Lily and her pregnancy, David's gambling, Adam/Nick/Phyllis, Daniel/Amber, the Alistair/Gloria/Jeff nonsense. There's just nothing of interest going on.
April 10, 200817 yr Member OUCH! These ratings suck big time. So sorry to GL and yeah that is an all-time low. I wanted AMC to at least get a 2.0. The ratings usually fall around this time of year anyway so I am not going to totally panic yet.
April 10, 200817 yr Member Glad to see Days hold steady, during whats obviously a tough time for the soaps...I loved Nicole's return last week..
April 10, 200817 yr Member Can someone explain to me why this time of year is typcially a ratings lull?
April 10, 200817 yr Member The only thing that I have to say about these sorry ratings is for all the exec. producers, writers, and network executives have to start looking in the mirror and blame themselves for what they have made of this once great genre. It is increasingly coming to the point of no return for a lot of these shows. Why they don't listen to the fans, or what's left of the soap fanbase, and start to rebuild what they destroyed.
April 10, 200817 yr Member How low does GL ratings have to go before they get rid of that hack Wheeler and her poodle Kreizman?
April 10, 200817 yr Member I'm glad AMC didn't go up, just because there's been some good episodes here and there doesn't mean it deserves to go up. Until they fire B&E, I don't want ratings to go up. No way do I want TIIC thinking people are enjoying this and then they won't make changes. Edited April 10, 200817 yr by Zendall Fan
April 10, 200817 yr Member Poor GL. 1.7!!!! AMC/OLTL should have gotten at least a .1 boast. But I agree with Angie. Until B&E are gone I don't want the ratings to go up!
