Y&R: Actress Out

Tammy Lauren, who plays detective Maggie Sullivan on Y&R, confirmed via the official Homefront message board that she'll be exiting Y&R. Her last scenes have apparently been taped.

My thoughts: I guess this is good news, since Tammy was a friend of Latham's and was only supposed to be on for 5 episodes, but she became a regular recurring actress on the show. It seems that they're trying to purge the show of friends's of Latham's anyway...

I agree with them getting rid of Latham's creation, but I don't think Maggie was the worse of LML's creations. I liked Tammy Lauren and I liked Maggie. She was boring as hell, but that could be taken care of with someone that wants to give the character a direction and a personality. I thought that Tammy had chemistry with Doug Davidson's Paul. Maggie would probably one of the last LML characters I'd get rid of.

First would be Adrian, then Australian Colleen. A year ago, I would have wanted Cane gone, but he doesn't bother me anymore, and I actually like him with Lily. It really does remind me of Ryan McNeil and Victoria's relationship from long ago. Jeff Bardwell needs to go as well. And hopefully without him, we could stop seeing all of this voodoo crap that Kevin and Gloria are stuck with. Jana needs to go as well.

Who am I missing?
