Whatever we think of Frons and the state of the show, you have to give TPTB props for keeping James Mitchell and Eileen Herlie on contract. They're both approaching 90 and obviously too frail to work on a regular basis, but they're still kept on contract. They must have minimal guarantees with the show, but I'm guessing their contract status allows them to keep their health benefits. For some reason, Frons treats the vets at AMC pretty well despite some glaring exceptions (Julia Barr) but treats the vets on GH like day-old dog crap.

21. Adam Chandler (David Canary)-------- 6 ?

Ridiculous. But I guess that's what you get for doing an interview where you reveal you came thisclose to going up to Julie Carruthers, tossing your contract in her face, and saying adios b*tch.

When did Julia start airing on AMC in 2005? Early August? From her 1 eppie I think it's safe to infer she's gone come July.

Yeah, Sydney's contract I think expires in early July..... They have stalled the Kate/Kathy storyline, AGAIN, so therefore Sydney's airtime stalls as well. What happened to that clinic she wants to open? And they seemed to be testing her with Frankie. The show remains just so inconsistent.

LtA, I don't think so. He aired almost every single day during the first month or two of the crash story. Top 10 for a month or two I believe.

Thanks for the list Adam. And on a early episode count note, no member of the "sextet of doom" will air every day in March. In fact, expect each to have at least 3 days off in the month.

ITA. At least AMC hasn't pulled an Anna Lee on them yet. AMC may not respect other vets, but I do give them some small credit for their treatment of JM and EH.

As for the rankings...this show needs some serious balance. We don't need to see Zendall and Greenlee and Ryass on nearly every day. and WTF at that actor that plays Dre - he wasn't even on once last month!! B&E need to move on his story or cut him. Ugh they p!ss me off.

    • She has SOME nerve. Why was she even back at Nicole's house? She new the hell she was about to unleash and should have packed up her things the day before. I doubt there was anything in that little desk worth going back for anyway
    • Surely you are exaggerating-there must have been several mentions of Abbott Communications.
    • I thought she started to deal with medical issues that ultimately caused her death in 1994? Not sure but I thought I had read that she battled illness for quite a few years. Perhaps it started when she decided to leave the show? She was so fantastic. I will say that she and David Forsyth worked so well together; it was the only reason I watched Mayer's five months of storylines.  Thanks for posting all these SFT episodes. Boy, the Nicholson/Mayer time was a mess of some positives but mostly negative. I wonder if Mayer was hired by Ellen Barrett (or if P&G tried to get Labine and Mayer although I doubt the budget would have allowed for both) then she was let go for some reason; and/or if Erwin had months left on his contract with P&G after EON was cancelled and they placed him there before he retired. Losing Sheri then Lisa Peluso was the death knell for this struggling show. Mayer's circus story was inane.  Casting Michelle Joyner big miss; she was awful as was (and always after) John Loprieno. I don't know how that guy stayed employed on soaps for so many years. The positives were Joe Lambie, Lee Godart.  Louann Gideon was lovely but completely miscast as Liza.  Mayer fired four scriptwriters, only keeping Nancy Williams who went on to great work at GL for a decade then Passions.

Not her getting sad over the Febreze!
    • Today when Anita and Vernon were talking about Bill, they referenced whatever mystery thing he covered up.  This time, with how they worded it, it seemed to be a cover-up about *them*.  So now I wonder if it was something else *in addition* to the Martin secret.
    • She really got to me today. She's doing a great job making Eva a character you just can't help but root for.
    • "Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas, Aristotle Dumas" There, I summed up today's episode.
    • O'Connor was listed as both breakdown and scriptwriter this week in the few episodes I saw and he wrote one script this week.
